The best barbers by far! My son hated having his hair cut until we found Nathaniel at Man About Town. He's really helped him to realise that it's not a traumatic thing to have done, taking it easy with him and showing him each step before doing it. My son also loves the skateboard and music vibe in there. Sadly we are moving away and are absolutely gutted to be leaving the barbers as I don't think we'll find another like it and we will be a bit too far for a day trip for an appointment! Sammo did a wonderful job with my little boy’s first haircut. He was patient and reassuring even though he was a bit unsure. We will definitely be going back.

Been going there for over a year.. had someone new today but it was a great experience. Things were clear, I wouldn't change anything about it. They were professional as well as chilled out, they made sure to do what you want with your hair. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to go for hair cuts

Sam Howell was able to help me choose the best haircut for one of my boys who has a high cow lick on one side of his fringe and I'm very happy with his choice as it suits him very nicely.

I stand strong, these guys deserve nothing less than 5 stars. I spent years switching shops going from hair salons to barbers. I could never find a stylist that would take such pride in there work. I always felt ripped off and was always disappointed, I mean style is everything to a persons self confidence. The stylists at Man About Town really go the extra mile. They care for nothing less than you the customer’s satisfaction. I love the fact that its a booking service and not a walk in. I hate walk ins. Tonnes of people queuing and long waiting times. No not at Man About Town. A booking system allows you the customer to show up at a specific time knowing your next. Ive always had anxiety issues in crowded places but not at Man About Town. I feel very welcome and appreciated as a customer. They take there time to understand what style you want. They take there time and always ask if there is anything else they can do after your cut. I will never ever go anywhere else again. They can bump the price up and I would pay all day long. They deserve it. My kids hated having there hair done but they love going to Man About Town.

This place has gone downhill massively since Paul and fliss left. I used these two professionals for awhile, and got outstanding haircuts. I’ve had 2 appalling haircuts by two other different staff since, where I was still charged £18.50. I am put off massively going here again!

To add to my review. I did mention each time that both haircuts by the two different staff were not acceptable. Even though an attempt was made. Both seemed to not know what to do, And or made it worse so I just left it. Also a majority of people won’t say anything to you in person but will leave a review. I think with charging £18.50 everything should be too notch. I feel that more training needs to be done with using scissors with all staff. My hair was barely touched on top and was all uneven missing the left side completely. When mentioned both staff did not know what to do with very little difference. Even after showing the massive difference in length

My Dad had his first visit to man about town this week and was really impressed. Place was clean and tidy and the prices were very reasonable. Sam was very professional and the atmosphere was very relaxed. I am really pleased with my haircut and would highly recommend going there. Written by my daughter as I am not very technical!

Very good haircut, understood & delivered on everything I asked. Very welcoming shop, hung up my jacket and had good music on! A nice and genuine barber who clearly enjoys cutting hair. Will be 100% returning.
