Oxford Spires Barbers

There is something to be said about a posh barbershop with big lounge chairs, cozy atmosphere and ample small talk before you get to the haircut. Oxford Spires Barbers isn't any of it. It is instead unassuming, clinical and clean. The barber is professional and quick. He isn't chatty but he asks the important questions to get you the haircut that you want. The price is significantly cheaper than other places (especially if you are a student). It's an easy recommendation if you just want a haircut done well without the fuss and spectacle that accompanies other establishments.

Come here several times during my time in Oxford and each time got a great haircut at a reasonable price (£12 for students). I was sceptical when I saw a new barber in the shop but Eugene was brilliant and a lovely bloke who I enjoyed chatting with. Will return here for my post-second lockdown haircut!

Had my hair cut here a few times now by Eugene. He's a very friendly barber, providing a great hair cut in a comfortable environment and in an efficient amount of time. Great price as well compared to the other barbers in Oxford.

The Barber/owner is not the most chatty or out going person and it shows in his hair cuts. I asked for a clipper cut on the sides and the back, scissors to the top. Buzz buzz, snip snip, done! 5 mins at the longest. No grading, checking it was the same length he didn't shave the back of my neck or even show me the back with a mirror! If you can describe a hair cut as being budget this was BUDGET.

Best skin fade I've had since 3 years in Oxford, and cheapest too. Eugene is friendly and quick. Always a pleasure.

Had Eugene who is very friendly and a real pro. The dry man’s cut I had was super efficient and affordable. If you are new in town and unsure about this barber shop, I would say just go for it.
