Barbers Lounge Lichfield

I took my son here on the easter holidays for a haircut. The stylist with red hair and tattoos was lovely, could not fault her cutting and customer care, having worked in the hair dressing industry myself at a UK leading brand of hairdressers. However the day I visited the receptionist/hair stylist/ manageress, not sure what her actual role was, whether she knew it or not was very unfriendly and actually rude. Not welcoming at all. I thought maybe she is having a bad day so I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt. Which is what I did but at the till she charged me a man's dry hair cut for my just gone 9 yr old son. She knew how old he was but still proceeded to do this. I did not want to make a scene as felt sorry for the wonderful, friendly red haired stylist who was even taken aback by this random hike in charge. I paid and left. I will never go back here due to this awful member of staff but I would go back to that lovely stylist. I am not recommending this barbers due to this rude member of staff. Tut tut in a customer focused industry you should be a lot better. You would have been sacked by me, in a salon for your behaviour. I have had 16 yr old Saturday girls with more customer service skills and communication skills.

Very welcoming by both staff on shift (Georgia and Sharron). Sharron cut my hair and took great care and detail in what she was doing. I informed her of a bad experience I had in the past (of which they agreed after showing them a photo was the worst she and Georgia had ever seen), so she made sure to talk me through every step of what she was doing to make me feel at ease. Very talkative and humerous to talk to, and overall a faultless experience. I will definitely be returning again :)

Two years of growing my hair wasted because the lad didn’t seem to understand ‘keep the length on top’. He has absolutely ruined my hair, took about five minutes to do so, didn’t ask if it was satisfactory and then wanted £13 for the privilege. If you do come here, see the ladies - the two on shift were great, and my son’s hair is lovely, thank you. But that doesn’t change the fact that I have no choice but to revert to a short style. Very disappointed.

Very convenient for me, very short walk. Price is competitive, about the same as the 'kings barbers' I would normally frequent, however a much more comfortable and pleasing aesthetic here. Would be 5 stars but there is a section on top longer than everything else, although I am certain if I went back then they would have sorted this for me, I am just not bothered enough.

Really good barbers, staff were very friendly and professional. The premises were spacious, clean and comfortable. Large sofas if you have to wait. Definitely make it our regular barbers now.

Literally the worst haircut I've ever had, did not listen to what I wanted.

The clippers they used have cut me in around 5 or 6 places on my scalp. The fade has lines in it. Never used this barbers before but I saw quite a few nice reviews and thought I'd give it a try. Never again.

On top of the money for a haircut I now have to buy a baseball cap until it grows out.
