Very friendly , yet professional and clean gents barbers in Garden Lane , Chester.
Emma ( the proprietor) takes plentry time with customers hair
to ensure that its cut exactly as required.
She pays attention to detail and is very obliging to ensure that the finished cut meets with customers expectations and is very patient until people are happy.
I have been going to have my hair cut by Emma for about 15 years now and I am always happy with my hair when she has finished.
Ticker's is a well established Gents barber, Having been there for 36 years and is very reasonably priced .
Ticker's operates a walk in service so am appointment is not necessary .
Maybe busy on occasions, but well worth the wait .
However , there are usually 3 barbers on duty , Emma, another lady hairdresser and a gent barber so never a long wait .
On my last visit , I fancied a change from my usual traditional style, so I showed Emma a photo on my phone of ex footballer and current Sheff Utd manager Paul Heckingbottom and said to her that I wanted a cut like his , which caused much amusement to other customers and staff.
However , looking forward to the challenge , Emma completed the task in hand with flying colours .

It's a friendly barbers with good humoured staff and customers enjoy the experience of going to have their hair cut and leave feeling uplifted and happier in themselves as a result of having an excellent haircut and being part of the good humoured banter between the staff and customers.
Thanks Emma , see you again in a few months for a Paul Heckingbottom restyle , complete with side parting.

I had been looking for a decent barber for quite a long time who listen and are good at why they do and I can finally say I’ve found her. These ladies are very good at what they do and I won’t be going anywhere else anymore. Lovely ladies who are very warming and great barbers.

This is one of the only places in Chester you can still get a properly barbered men's cut. No silly young men tickling it into a specific hair style that you spend ages trying to replicate each day. Just well cut hair. Can't praise it enough.

Bad experience. My wife went in looking for a nice and short clean cut haircut, very short sides and back, and the ladies said "we're a barbers, there's a hairdressers across the street". Awful customer service, possibly discriminatory.

Very Friendly Staff and a good clean premises. Both my boys had their hair cut in just a few minutes. Very competitive prices. Would certainly recommend to others.

Been here 3 times; 2 of which were terrible and 1 which was great. The bad hair cuts i received were from male barbers who did not cut my hair to how i wanted, even when i specifically detailed the length, shape and type of cut. The 1st male barber got annoyed with me when i asked him to cut my hair differently and the 2nd seemed more bothered about getting out the door than making sure he finished my haircut. The poor quality service on both occasions have left me going to other barbers to finish my haircut. I do however highly recommend one of the women from Wales who paid attention to exactly what i asked for and delivered a haircut better than i thought.

Great haircuts for more than reasonable prices. They will do exactly what you ask and take their time to make sure you like it.
