A great cut and great vibe at this amazing place - the coolest Barber in Cardiff! Thanks for the great cut and pampering! Highly recommend to anyone in the area.

Amazing, just amazing. An absolute masterclass in what a barber experience should be. i felt listened to and not at all awkward though out the whole cut. My beard and hair was trimmed to the exact specifications I gave and the staff were skilled enough and professional enough to be able to engage in banter and chat throughout - a pleasant change to many dead silent haircut experiences where you feel like just another head in a chair. Would highly recommend and would definitely be a returning customer to Medusa

The skills in this shop are next level, I genuinely feel I've had the best haircut I've ever had and it was more reasonably priced than others who are at least £5 more for the same service. Great location & ambience. Thanks very much guys!
Cheers PJ

Excellent service in the city centre, friendly staff offering drink on arrival and the best standard of haircut you’ll experience in the centre of Cardiff. Far better than the other places around!

1st time, probably last time if I'm honest - the cut was ok, the price was... Well, around 50% more than I normally pay - but I don't normally get a cut in the city centre, so I imagine their overheads are higher.

Anyway the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 - I was in a pinch, needed a haircut at short notice. Found this place on Google, decent enough reviews, saw that you could book a time slot on their website. Done this, and headed over for when I finished work.
I got there 10 mins before the timeslot that I booked (and had confirmation for). Only 1 chap cutting, actively with a customer, another customer sat on the sofa waiting.

I take a seat, he finishes the customers hair, it's now around 2 mins after my booked time - so there's me thinking I'll be next being that I've booked a time... Nope. He just calls up the next waiting customer - made no reference or attempt to look regarding booked times.

I sit there for a further 25 mins - now I'm 25 mins after my "booked" time, I was hoping to be out of there by now - I had something important to go to and wanted a fresh trim ready.

Anyway, some other worker shows up from nowhere - I can only assume he was the boss, watching football on his phone, calls me up, I sit down, tell him what I want. Boom. That's it. No further communication until the cut is finished. Just sat in silence.
Very strange sitting in silence having your hair cut. Yeah the cut was decent. But overall a strange experience and the booking system is a waste of time.

I guess I'll just be better prepared in future and plan a haircut a day or 2 before I need it.

Was booked in for a haircut at half 5 and the whole store was shut when I arrived. Why offer a booking if you’re going to be closed anyway?

Great haircut at a decent price, barber made sure I was happy with absolutely everything before he finished. Excellent experience overall and the best barber I've been to in Cardiff by a mile.
