I have had my hair cut here since 1987 and never elsewhere because as long as you treat your barbers with respect and like a good conversation you will always get the same in return and you need never go elsewhere.
Jack & George offer a warm welcome and always happy to chat so on your own or with your kids a visit is worth the while and always a decent amount of papers and magazines around should there be a wait so here's to another 29 years for me!

Absolutely fantastic! Went in today for the first time (05/05/16) I have paid £3 or £4 for a haircut before when away at uni but have now realised how bad they were. Was more than happy to pay the £10 by the end. Lovely gentlemen in there, very experienced and have got a fab haircut, cut exactly how I asked. Will definetely be returning and recommend highly!

I was refused service for no apparent reason.
Went in today, seemed friendly to start with. As I sat down I told the barber what I wanted and asked if they did a student discount. The barber looked at the other barber and asked me where I usually go. I told him I usually go somewhere in town. He asked me for how much I usually pay, 8.50 I told him. He then asked what product I current had in my hair, which I replied with clay wax. He repeated this to his colleague, said nah we can't cut your hair, picked up my coat, and directed me to the door.
I then went a few doors down to the other barbers, had a great cut at a reasonable price. I then learnt this wasn't the only time where people have been refused service at Bros Barbers for almost no reason... Would not recommend at all.

First Class service. The best barbers in the UK. I've been using these barbers for 35yrs now. I moved away from Cathays in 1994 but I still travel between 45 mins and an hour to use these barbers and it's definitely worth the trip. Really friendly, polite and most of all excellent hair cuts. I most certainly recommend these boys to everyone.

Having curly mixed race hair, it's always been a struggle finding a barber who'd give it a good cut. I was so thankful to come across George and Jack during my first year of uni. They cut my hair to perfection and I never looked back during my three years of uni in Cardiff. On top of the high quality service, they're absolutely hilarious! Next time I'm in Cardiff, I'll definitely make sure I drop by for a fresh trim.

I have some knowledge of this establishment, having been a regular patron for the last 34 years! Steer well clear unless you want excellent service, a quality haircut and friendly ambience. In this profession, there's a lot to be said about longevity and returning customers are testimony to consistent service excellence and great value. They set the benchmark for all new barbers, I'd say.

I remember going here about 3 and a half years ago. George cut my hair , we had a chat and he cut my hair well. He then told me to never come back as I shouldn't have chatted to him as it was over personal.... I have been going to the next barbers along since , run by an amazing guy called Kevin . Kevin tells me it's common for clients to come to him and tell similar stories about Bros barbers.
