Barber Lounge

I rang the barbers to book an appointment for my son to have a haircut and I was told to come down at 2pm so I did. I said I had an appointment but was told that as I didn't book it online I didn't have an appointment I was just at walk in and my son would have his hair cut within the hour. I didn't have an hour to waste hence why I had rung them in the first place. Their attitude was terrible! Didn't care at all! Will not be using them again

Barbers are great and very friendly. I have been to several other local barbers and none of them are as good or as well priced as Barber Lounge. Highly recommend them.

Very poor customer service and booking system. Called earlier in the week to book an appointment and was told it would be better to just walk in. Thursday morning comes around so I pop in to have a tapered fade done. One employee was sitting at the desk while his colleague was cutting someone else's hair. There was another gentleman already waiting. Before I could even say a word one of the barbers said my hair was too long (surprising, as I have had my hair cut at barbers before with no issue, and I doubt my hair was any longer than a man who's gone a month too long without a trim) and that they couldn't cut it. I tried to explain that I wasn't looking for a full cut, just a trim up on the sides, and if they were too busy in the morning I was happy to come back in the afternoon. Instead of engaging with the conversation, they told me to try a salon for women. The man at the desk wouldn't even speak directly to me, only communicated through his colleague. I felt nearly humiliated and it was such an uncomfortable interaction! Will absolutely not be returning, and this establishment missed out on money from a customer who was asking for the exact same haircut they give every day. So disappointed and fuming.

My husband and 3 years old son went for a haircut first time here yesterday. The shop is super clean and light. Staffs are sooo friendly and helpful.
We are very pleased with the smart and tidy summer haircuts. Thank you very much for doing my little boy's hair. Highly recommended.

Made an appointment on the phone for 3pm for my sons haircut. Was told there were a few people in front of him as they were busy which is no problem. After an hour and a half of waiting and multiple walkins being seen to I went to ask why my son was still waiting. Was told very rudely that they were busy. The man having his haircut at the time was not one of the people waiting when we first arrived. I asked why they have let my son sit there for an hour and a half rather than just saying they could not fit him in and was just rudely told again that they were busy. Absolutely disgusting attitude and service! Cannot believe the lack of professionalism and basic human decency

I hope to hell I didn’t make a mistake, none of the staff were wearing masks and the barber didn’t appear to disinfect between customers, a place like this ought to be really busy and I never understood why it’s not.
Positives minimal wait and quick tidy cut at a good price
Negatives complete disregard to covid restrictions and the barbers fingers smelt of cigarettes

Had hoped this could have been my new regular barber shop.

First haircut in a barber’s for a very long time. Very good. Really impressed with the professionalism of the staff and cleanliness of the place. My new haircut is great. Would give it a 6 if I could.
