57 Barbers

Made my 3 year old son wait patently over two hours with only one person in front of him to be served. When it was finally his go to be served another customer came in ( I guess the barbers friend) an said we would have to wait again because this person had booked. I asked last week can I book in for my boys cut, he said "no one can book you have to wait" then he done that to me & my 3 year old boy who was an absolute gem waiting patiently. It's taken me a long time to build up his courage so for this to happen has totally knocked back his confidence. :(

I have previously been going to a barbers in Sketty which I wont name. The last time I visited my regular barber it looked like Stevie Wonder had cut my hair. I decided to give 57 Barbers a go to see if they could sort it out. They were brilliant, did a really good job and will definitely be going back.

Great haircut and beard trim, with a good understanding of mens concerns like scarcity of hair up top etc. Loyalty card is a nice touch.

Nice enough people working there and an average hair cut at best. But expect to be waiting a long time if you book with Darren... even booking you end up waiting 30 minutes minimum. Also expect him then to rush you when he realises he’s behind time and then you’re left with a poor haircut. Basically down to when he sees his mates or his mates come in the shop he will get distracted and will leave you sitting there waiting for your hair to be cut - happened to me often. Can be very cliquey with their favourable customers and expect not to be spoken to if a favourable customer comes in and you’re at the chair. Glad I’ve found myself another barbers.

I had my hair cut by Mo - he transformed a small disaster I had on my head into a beautiful fade. Also, what is really important to me, he knew how to deal with thick, wavy hair - some people have tried to torture me with narrow combs, but not this time!

Mo also kept on checking with me if I liked the haircut and entertained me with a pleasant conversation.

Definitely recommended!
