I visited this place a few weeks ago for a beard trim based on the positive reviews. The trim itself was fine but most disappointed by the lack of customer service I received. No acknowledgement of 'Hello' when I arrived through the door, when I said I wanted a beard trim, the barber seemed disappointed and to top it all off he spent most of the time boasting to his mate about some teaching he was doing at the local college. I usually don't voice complaints online as I prefer to discuss them face to face with the staff especially when it comes to independent businesses but given I felt 'invisible', I didn't think there be any point.

My second visit here. Haircut and shave, both visits were with Tom. He was friendly and did an excellent job.
I like the convenience of being able to use booksy for appointments too!

The staff is very professional and kind. I've been there only a couple of times and I haven't been disappointed. It's always a pleasure going there and have a chat with them. Top boys and top service. Highly recommended

I did email twice to two separate emails before posting this review but received no response from the barbers.
I phoned this barbers beforehand to ask how I book a haircut for my 3yr old son. They said to come down anytime as they offer walk-in appointments.
My son started off at ease having his haircut but the barber who was inexperienced with using a scissors and was trying his best with little skill, took a long time and couldn’t get a shape to the haircut. His colleague did eventually step in to tidy it up a bit but with an already tramatised 3 yr old I had to leave with a half done haircut. Charged £10 for a cut which I could have done myself. Disappointed as there doesn’t seem to be a manager there handling situations. I don’t blame the boy who cut my son’s hair as he handled the situation the best he could with his obvious lack of experience. I don’t recommend taking younger children here. Seems to be more of a conveyer belt of customers and you get what you get attitude.

Quite busy at the moment (given the end of the lockdown) Sam still provides a great service and, even more importantly, a great cut. It's so nice to feel a bit more normal again. Will happily recommend their service!

Never been before, so thought I’d give it the place a go. I am so impressed I will be returning. Atmosphere in the shop is great, everyone is really friendly. Excellent cut, totally exceeded my expectations 🤟
