Overpriced, dishonest and frustrating to deal with. Despite asking multiple times for a FENSA certificate that I was charged hundreds of pounds for I still don’t have it. Kept threatening to invoice me for more every tine I asked, added on extras that were never agreed, use multiple contractors so no one accountable. Go elsewhere. At least 3 of these reviews are not even legitimate as from people who work for company.

Just had our bathroom renovated, new units, plumbing replaced and new shower installed. Completely faultless. Such a professional job. The team were the nicest crew ever. Couldn’t recommend them all enough. Thank you for all your help

I went into this shop three weeks ago to enquire about a simple shower rail and head replacement. They said they would contact the manufacturer to source the products and could offer a fitting service. Two weeks later, I went back after they emailed me to say they’d had no response and I asked them to call (seems like that might have occurred to them). The manufacturer didn’t have the products required so two weeks wasted during which I have been unable to use my shower. I was told they’d look elsewhere to find the products and get back to me that day. That was five days ago. Unhelpful, unresponsive, a very poor service and frustrating experience.

Update 2023:

After a year of having work done,there was a fault with the washing machine plug and kitchen counter top. Steve and the team resolved this very quickly, this has been very helpful . Definitely an improved experience and will consider working together in the future again

2022:

I have recently used TJ Bathrooms to Project Manage and Instal a New Bathroom in our house. Here is my constructive and accurate outline of the Pro's and Cons of using this business. Please note I however would not be recommending them.

Pro's

1. Work completed of a good quality
2. Work Completed on time
3. House left tidy and in good order after the work was completed

Con's

1. Estimate is not fully inclusive of all work that will be done, so check this very carefully ( Its in Word and not very user friendly)
2. Ignored my intial budget and accepted work on my consent without providing upfront quote/estimate knowing full well this would exceed my budget
3. No ongoing account updates, therefore they are unaware of your running account and hence why you are most likely to pay much more than the initial quote. Even though this was requested by me
4. Very tardy responses, it took them 4 weeks post Project Close to isssue a final bill, queried the bill and took them a further 2 months to respond, siting IT issues which is very hard to believe
5. They will advise you of new work required without a cost, your assumption is that this is within your budget that you advised them of, but this is not the case

At the end of the day, the work was completed but my final bill was £7000 more than the estimate without any ongoing updates that we are exceeding an agreed budget and by what amount. There in lies the problem with using this business

Reading some of the older reviews, doesnt look like this is the first time either.
