Pure Style Bathrooms and Kitchens

Absolutely thrilled with our new wet room, our fitting was delayed due to lockdown, but well worth the wait. The whole process from design by Ben and the fitting by the two Keith's was excellent, nothing was too much trouble and the two Keith's attention to detail was first class, thank you all.

We selected Purestyle to design a new bathroom for us as the old 3 piece bathroom was looking tired and dated. Really happy with our new 4 piece bathroom. The seperate shower enclosure helps bring the room up to date and the rainfall shower head is fantastic.
During the installation i was impressed that walkways were all covered and once complete, all the old sanitaryware was removed along with all packaging and waste. A real tidy job.

Now in our 70s, and my wife disabled every single aspect of our dealings with Purestyle Bathrooms and Kitchens has been been horrendous and extremely stressful. No care or professionalism was shown to us by the company, refusing to answer letters, calls, emails, texts. Anyone considering Purestyle, do not be as naive as we were in trusting the company and so making the same mistakes.
We were charged hundreds of £ more than the rrp for appliances. Some appliances are not the ones we chose. Units are the poorest quality - nicks and holes in the melamine, so we need to find another company to replace them. We have not been refunded for items which were not installed or arrived damaged. We were left for 6 weeks without water to wash clothes or pots, 6 weeks with no way of cooking. After 7 weeks Purestyle cancelled the combi oven - so I was forced to source my own - within 4 days - they took another 3 weeks to refund the cost of this.
This has turned into the worst experience we have had with any company carrying out work on our home in the 40 years living here. Our bathroom has been redesigned and refitted twice, the shower room redesigned twice then altered to include a walk in shower when my wife became disabled. An extension, 2 new kitchens before this one, a complete new landscaped levelled garden to make it more accessible for my wife and more. Nothing has prepared us for the despicable way we were treated by Purestyle, and we are left with the poorest quality kitchen in our 40 years of living here.
Following our experience, if you are considering using Purestyle I would urge you to :
1. Make sure that you request a plan of the design. Do not assume that the rep. will measure everything correctly
2. For your own peace of mind and for any future legal help you may need, obtain a written agreement as to the length of time the installation will take.
3. Make sure that you know which carcasses will be used before you pay.
4. Make sure that you have a printed list of the exact details of each appliance, with the model numbers so that you can check that you receive what you paid for - do not just assume you will get what you chose
5. When you receive the model numbers check carefully the price Purestyle quoted with a) the rrp and b) the price it is sold by other retailers. Do not assume that Purestlye will give you a good price - you might be wiser to purchase your own as I wished we had.
6. Refuse to accept any goods unless a member of Purestyle is present or at least obtain a full list from the driver of what has been delivered, this will save stress and heartache later.

UPDATE 18/12/21 - So just heard Patrick Short (yes the Peel Ward labour councillor) and just shut up shop. We have been waiting for work to be completed for months after grouting was chipping. I can only assume many people will lose money now as they will have paid for stock not received. Disgusting how he has treated people!

The issue with Google reviews is that you have to give at least 1 star, even in circumstances when you wouldn't give a star at all. This is a fault that needs to be rectified.
