Maghull Bathroom & D I Y Centre

Bathroom fixtures and fittings were fine but the installer, Peter has left the bathroom with cracks in it. I’ve contacted Peter with no response from him to come and put right. I’ve also contacted Maghull bathrooms and haven’t had a positive outcome either.

We had a wonderful experience from start to finish and ended up with the bathroom we had always wanted. The guys in the showroom were wonderful at talking us through our options, mapping it out to suit our bathroom and helping us keep within our budget. They organised everything and the fitters were exceptional! It took four days from start to finish for them to rip out our original bathroom, higher the ceiling, fit the new bathroom, plaster and tile. They were so efficient and we are thrilled with the finished product!

Recently had my bathroom renovated using Maghull Bathroom. The staff in the showroom where really helpful and not at all pushy, and were very knowledgeable. They allocated a contractor to do the work ( Alex and his team), who were excellent, and actually finished the job a day earlier than expected.

Spent 7000.00 on a bathroom from this place and it was fitted 2 years ago.Am now in the process of having it put right as every wall panel join is showing and shower tray wasn’t sealed properly causing mold to form.i did contact the showroom and tell them soon after fitting but they weren’t interested. Avoid at all costs cos once they have your money they don’t care

Just had our bathroom supplied and fitted by Maghull Bathrooms. Stephen helped us with the design and Sam and Lee did the fitting and all were very helpful and professional throughout!

Totally unprofessional company. The day before my job was due to start the original fitter I had contracted to do the work was removed from my job by Maghull Bathrooms and re allocated to another fitter. ( Apparently maghull bathrooms only recommend a fitter but have the power to allocate fitters to specific jobs?) Maghull sent me a defective sink on 4 occasions, wrong floor tiles and coloured fixtures. Today I received a letter advising they have not received payment and that I have 'never contested' my invoice, when infact I have contested the invoice on numerous occasions due to the relevant reductions and amendments not being applied. According to them I have advised I am a solicitor? ( A profession unknown to me) and the threat and 'Ramifications' of a CCJ against my name. Totally unprofessional approach to a situation caused by Maghull bathrooms and the lack of customer service is shocking.

They have an arrangement whereby they provide a fitter who is not employed by them. As other reviews show, getting a good reliable fitter makes for a good experience. But, when things go wrong the fitter and the showroom each blame the other and nothing gets resolved. The fitter we had (mentioned in other reviews on this site) was so unreliable I paid someone else to repair the ceiling he damaged. Nobody responded satisfactorily to my queries about misordering, over ordering or the fitter who failed to turn up numerous times. I was told to write to the owner, which I did without reply. The bathroom is ok but the whole circus around the installation made it a grim experience and not one I’d ever repeat or recommend to others.
