BAD experience. I had a half leg wax here about 3 weeks ago which was not a positive experience and I would not recommend going here for any kind of wax!

The beauty therapist used a strip to wax - but unusually pulled the strip off in 3 tugs - unnecessary and painful, she would get to the end of the strip and then be sort of tugging at it, as obviously it did not come away cleanly at the end! I felt quite annoyed and asked her if she could just pull the wax strip off in one go - she said she HAD NOT BEEN TRAINED TO DO IT LIKE THAT, but she obliged and finished the wax. I have had a lot of waxes in my time and never come across anyone who removes a wax strip like this-in 3 separate tugs - it is completely unnecessary, inefficient and painful for the customer. WHAT ARE YOU DOING?

Not only this - but for the experience and as a WALK-IN customer I got charged £22.00 for this half-leg wax!? I think I was so shocked I didn't think to question it. This is the most expensive leg wax price in Norwich and I do not expect to have a wax for this price with someone who is incompetent at what they are doing??? I will never be using the lemon tree again.

Had my nails done at Lemon Tree in Norwich over two weeks ago with gel. They have lasted so well and are still going. I have always had problems with my nails and them not growing but now they are really good and everyone says how lovely they look. Would definitely recommend. Thank you. Lizzie

The first time I visited The Lemon Tree was over 6 years ago, and since then I have had many different treatments including waxing, eyelash extensions, spray tans, etc. with different beauticians. The fact that I no longer work in Norwich but still drive over an hour each way just to visit them is testament to their fabulous service and excellent treatments. I have used other salons in Norwich but these guys remain my favorite for waxing - Charlotte is a star! Thank you :)

Awful experience, worryingly unprofessional. Booked for manicure and gel nails. Therapist unprepared from the start, clearly annoyed her colleague as we sat in the seat she had set up for her client. Felt very rushed, soaked my hands quickly in a bowl of water, no cuticle remover, very roughly pushed cuticles, cut and proceeded to file nails hard, making my cuticle skin sore and then almost put hole in my nail bed. Base coat painted so sloppily, no care taken whatsoever, i asked her to stop when I noticed cotton wool fibres all stuck to my nails, I asked why she wasn’t using lint free wipes and she said they’d run out! She suggested I go wash my hands. At this point I decided to abandon the treatment. The lady in charge said it must be ‘annoying’ what had happened, they had no alternative therapist available so I decided to leave. Would definitely never go back or recommend.

I had the gel polish on finger and toe nails and unfortunately the fingernails began peeling off after just 3 days. I complained and they did refund me which I was happy with and that's why I have given 3 stars, otherwise it would have been 1! Still an annoying inconvenience as I was going on holiday so I went elsewhere (VIP Beauty, Poringland) to have them redone on the morning of my holiday and they lasted absolutely brilliantly - 2 weeks at least, by which point they were growing out so I just painted a similar colour on top and they are still there 4 weeks later - do need to get them re-done now though!

Went for a walk in appointment, 11:30 Back Neck & Shoulders... At 11:32 I'm collected from reception and taken to treatment room to get ready for massage. Being fair let's say that whole process took 3 mins only .. That's 5 mins into my massage gone. Therapist comes in and starts treatment which is 5 mins of non oil, hands on preparation, pressure techniques etc. Massage starts after this and that's also a good few mins of warming up the muscles etc ... By 11:55 I'm getting dressed? Literally works out to be like 15 mins max of hands on massage. And honestly 5 mins of that is warm up and cool down and some karate chops in between, which I haven't experienced during massage far ages. Definitely need to consider the reviews as their standards are dropping quick.

A few weeks ago I visited the lemon tree to get a couple of treatments with the results being very hit and miss. Had my gels done and had to get them redone as they were so awful, was met with tension as to why they looked the way they did saying that simple things like pushing down the cuticle was not included in the price which resulted in the gels being half way up my nail. Really unimpressed and would not recommend.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I wish I had read the reviews before spending money here. I had a lovely therapist although she has now left and the continuence of treatments and aftercare has been awful!! Arnold does not care about customer satisfaction, all he cares about is taking your money. He obviously doesn't realise that customers are his bread and butter and treating them badly and ripping them off will not earn him any customer loyalty and bring down the reputation of his company. (Although looking at other reviews it doesn't look like the company has ever had a good reputation!) I have been contacting Arnold Raetz the director and owner of this company for over 2 months now, I am owed a refund. Every time I contact I am told he knows I am chasing and will be getting in contact with me that day and 2 months later I am still told the same thing. He is now refusing to send me my personal information and treatments notes which is a breach of data protection act..makes me wonder if they have discarded my treatment notes and not followed correct procedures..
