I am a regular customer here, my nails are always done professionaly and always with care, my nails always look stunning and I have constant compliments about them. Julie cannot do enough to make her customers welcome and relaxed in every way. Julie is always booked up, so you do have to book your nails in advance, but this shows how good her work is.

I have seen a review about refusing to do peoples nails that have been done elsewhere and quite rightly so. Some places have damaged peoples own nails because of the products and methods they use and this why she won't touch them. So I suggest if you want a professional job doing then book well in advance with Julie to get the best result.

The salon is just down the road from where I live so I popped in to see if I could have my nails touched up. The woman staffing the place told me it was appointment only, which is fine and asked me how she could help. I said I wanted my nails redone and showed them
to her. She pulled a face and said the technician didn't do other people's work. Also fine. I asked if my current nails could be taken off (they're acrylic) and redone. The woman pulled another face and asked me, starting with the question "not to be rude," (which always ends well) "but did the Chinese do them?" She proceeded to pull yet another face and then looked expectantly back at me as I gaped at her. I plastered on a smile and gritted out a thank you and she followed me, declaring "only they make them terribly hard to take off!"

Lets ignore how bad her attitude was towards me, I'm a big girl after all, but the blatant racism she so causally displayed is NOT OK.

The woman who did my nails was white. She wasn't British however and neither were the other people working in the salon. They were likely of south Asian descent, although strangely enough I didn't think to ask before I
sat down. They could have been on any nationality, including Chinese, but lumping a group of people together, putting the word "the"
Infront of it and implying that a particular race all have the same characteristics is NOT OK.

I expect these fine nuances to be lost on the blonde, white lasy I spoke to today but here's to hoping she learns some respect in the future.

I had my eyelashes tinted with Suzanne, she is really lovely, friendly and professional. The salon is so welcoming, clean and the decor is beautiful. As she works there alone, you really do feel like a V.I.P. plus the environment is soo relaxing. I am really happy with my eyelashes- I will definitely be returning in the future.
