Wow, I have never written a review before for a hairdresser in my life! Simone was absolutely fantastic, she knew exactly what to do with my hair (afro hair texture) the service from start to finish was phenomenal. I am extremely and I mean extremely fussy when it comes to my hair, I have been to so called award winning salons, but she beats them hands down. Considering it was my first time, I took the plunge and had a colour and cut, my hair looks and feels great. It was reminiscent of the makeover shows you see when they show the before pic and you think o my goodness what a mess, to wow is that the same person, Simone is immensely talented.
I initially found her by doing what you are doing now, checking the reviews.
So glad I went, I would highly recommend her, you will not be disappointed

I am so happy that I made the trip to this salon. From the start, I received a very warm welcome for all the staff. Simone the afro hairstylist, extremely knowledgeable and friendly. She listened , gave advice and brought my hair back from the brink of death. After, one visit my hair is looking amazing. I will be back. Highly recommended!

So after months of not knowing what to do with my hair and not having a hair stylist that I could trust. I decide to call elysium beauty london to book a hair appointment. I explained what I was looking for and explained how nervous I was about getting my hair done as my last experience left me in tears, the reception is was friendly, really lovely and told me not to worry and booked me in for an appointment for the very next day.

The salon is beautiful clean and very welcoming. I was seen by a wonderful and friendly stylist called Simone (who is officially the only person I will trust with my hair from now on) we talked through my options and with her expertise she helped me to decided what would be the best option for getting my hair back on track.

My hair was in a terrible condition due to stress but by the time Simone had finished I looked like a completely different person. Everyone has commented on how great my hair looks and the whole experience has made me enjoy getting my hair done professionally again. I Had a wonderful experience and I have great hair again and can not recommend elysium beauty london enough.

I have been here before and the treatments are pretty good (if pricey for the area) but the customer service is really not. On my latest visit today , I had a booking through Treatwell where there had obviously been some mix up between what was booked on my app (confirmed pedi for today) and what was booked in the store (only a removal tomorrow and a future July booking). I had rescheduled at the salon's request and we had not spoken but I had received Treatwell's confirmation mail and text. When I arrived there was obviously someone already there being treated, however, rather than explain it was a mix up and find a solution Mel insisted on showing me 'proof' that her system did not have the booking and that I had cancelled, even though my phone showed the opposite. She even made me look at her computer screen and the cancellation mail (which actually said rescheduled, this was closed quite quickly when I noticed) and blamed Treatwell and me for not calling. There was no apology until right at the end when I was visibly upset and her tone throughout was unprofessional. I wouldn't have minded the mix up and would have been OK to reschedule but the way it was handled was really defensive and confrontational and in the end I left in tears. This all happened in front of another customer in the pedicure chair and in the middle of the salon. It's a shame as I had a few more appointments booked here but if you are looking for a relaxing and pampering session, the attitude and lack of care for customers really does ruin the experience and I would not recommend this salon.

Appalling service! Booked a leg wax, turned up for appointment and the required staff member was off sick. Salon had made no attempt to contact me to let me know. Highly frustrating when your whole day is organised around it

went for a consultation asking for no colour change just a few highlights/lowlights to make it blend better. Had a chunky money piece I wanted made smaller. On the day even talking To the owner (who did my hair) was asking other staff about formulas, I kept repeating I wanted to keep/improve the warm look. Comes to toning time and I hear the assistants discussing a grey/cooling formula (but u thought it was for the customer next to me getting a silver balayage) and they say oh it’s going to be cool how do you feel. I say a bit cool okay just not grey or dark. Any time I questioned what they were doing it was being put off as if I didn’t know how hair works (I would’ve done myself but I couldn’t see the back). My hair is damadged so if the right products are used it can be difficult to blow dry/handle. She put some mask in raving about it as she struggled to blow dry my hair claiming I need to maintain the upkeep (trims and no heat). How did I leave with less silky hair than I came in with. Also she finished blow drying and I see my hair is grey. And she didn’t place no filler on the lowlights so the brown she put came out muddy on the blonde base. She had also gotten rid of the money piece entirely. I then say it’s too dark and grey Can you lighten it. To this everyone goes it’s the toner it’ll wash out.... To this I go I know but this is way too dark for what I asked for. So she tries to bleach bath just the money piece because doing the whole head is time consuming. And she manages to lighten in a bit but again still grey. At this point I sense their reluctance so I pay for my service trying to be appreciative. I then rang up the next day asking for it to be fixed and so they said to wait for the owner to call. Spoke to her in a Saturday she said we can get someone else to fix it. I said I’ll have to call back as I’m busy with work and will let you know. Phoned on Wednesday and was told they’ll get back to me with an availablity. At this point I don’t ever hear from again nor trust them to fix it.

I jus get my hair cut layers by the girl with the curly hair , i just want to say she have gold hands ,she its so fast and so professional
