Luminis Beauty Spa Chiswick

I went in for a gel application on Saturday 11 June. It was a bit rushed but seemed okay at first. However, by the evening the polish has started to peel off, bubble and chip (see picture taken the same day as the manicure). After a few days half of my nails were chipped and a few were only half on and had nearly entirely peeled off.

This was part of a block booking of gel applications. I called and emailed to cancel the rest as I didn't want to use them again. They still won't confirm a refund on the future bookings (I was happy to pay for the original application) and every time I speak to them say they will confirm later but never do. They also repeatedly asked me to come in store to discuss but I am away with work for two weeks (hence getting the manicure!). The treatment and service are terrible - avoid at all costs.

This was one of the best facials I have had in a very long time. Alexandra was first-class and so professional. My bug-bear is being 'left' for ten minutes or more while the mask is applied, but Alexandra was having none of that. There was even a choice of what massage one would like while the mask took effect. This was very impressive. The facial itself was so relaxing and divine. I will definitely return

Excellent treatment given each and every time. Very friendly and welcoming therapists who always ensure their clients are happy and are getting the utmost out of their time. Would highly recommend both the spa and the therapists for a fantastic and relaxing experience.

I had such an amazing experience at Luminis. I got gifted a Swedish 60 mns massage and it was so very nice. Everything was clean, the lady who did my massage was lovely and very mindful of my needs and preferences. A great time and I will definitely be back.

Further to my last review. I had my gel removed without having any further treatment or manicure. My nails are in such good condition. I’ve attached a picture.

Lovely and thoughtful staff. Deep Tissue Massage was really great. Had some particularly tricky knots in my back, good pressure and advice, and will definitely be back soon.

The Luminis team were so kind to me recently. I had a funny turn on the morning of my booked body scrub appointment. The team agreed to move my appt to another day FOC. I was so grateful. Today, I had that treatment and can not recommend it, or Shenade highly enough. Professional, courteous and left me feeling glowing. Gorgeous products used. I'm going to book my mum in as a treat for her. I too shall be going back - to see Shenade if possible. I can tell she knows her beauty onions.
