Day Spa

I was so disappointed today. I booked and reserved a Full Body Massage for today, my only day off. I had even received a confirmation with the agreed time and date as a text. I was called today to be advised that a wax, full body massage and nails could not be completed? When I advised I had only booked a massage, I was told it was at a totally different time, to which I could not make due to other appointments booked around that massage. There was nobody else who could see me at the time agreed and then the line was disconnected. I find it very bad if this Company cannot even book a simple appointment for their business. Surely this is costing them customers. Disappointing...

I booked a double shellac appointment for myself and my mother in law. Unfortunately, we were unable to make the original date and had to phone the salon to reschedule. The lady on the phone was very understanding and we managed to reschedule with no issues. The actual experience on the day was extremely professional yet friend and the quality of service was second to none. Thank you Day Spa. We look forward to our next visit.

Can't speak highly enough of this place. After phoning round over 10 other beauty places for a last minute wax with no luck, The Day Spa offered me an appt even though I'd given them hardly any notice. Sam who did it was super friendly and accommodating. Getting an intimate wax can be embarassing but Sam made me feel totally at ease and was super quick (perfect for getting waxed in between work meetings!). She made sure I was totally happy before she finished and price was really reasonable too. Just wish I lived in the area so I could come back again!

I had a manicure and eyelash extensions done there. The lashes were done as individuals and was told that they would stay for at least 2-3 weeks and if I’m careful up to 6 weeks. I was very careful and 70% of the lashes fell off within 5 days and 100% of the eyelashes fell of within 7 days, I did NOT pick them myself. Regarding the manicure, it chipped the day after.
If it was cheap, I wouldn’t even bother writing this review but it was VERY expensive. Waste of time and money. If I were you I would not step a foot in this place.

I went today for the first time to the Day Spa in Blackheath. It is clean, simple in an almost elegant way (so refreshing not to have neon lights and lots of kitsch elements around, like in quite a few of the standard manicure-pedicure places!!!); on top of that, all the ladies there are absolutely fantastic and made me feel like I was a customer for years. They have a very good quality stand-up tanning cabin (alongside with a couple of horizontal sunbeds). The tanning cabin is extremely user-friendly, as unlike the standard ones available in most tanning places, it includes a small changing room, so goodbye to having to change in a room, then enter the cabin etc. I also had my pedicure done and I must really say that a lovely lady who works there, Sam, did wonders to my tired feet and understood immediately what I wanted, how I wanted it, did it accordingly - and on top of that, she gave me some helpful advice. It was really a change from most of the salons in the Lewisham/Hither Green/Blackheath area, where I tested lots of places and ended up leaving disappointed and not going back...
Although distance-wise it’s not the closest to my home, it’s a small compromise for getting a really good quality service and being made to feel at home.
Going again next week! 😁

Been getting my nails done here for over 10 years, always happy with the work and have regular spray tans too in the summer, everybody always comments on how natural they look and what a great colour they are, thoroughly recommend this place

Had a spray tan done I was told it wouldn’t go patchy if I go swimming and it has gone horribly patchy 2 days after my spray tan and I was barely swimming. My hands were looking white after one day. I sort of wish they warned me more about these things and been honest because I wouldn’t have done it and spent my money on it if I knew this would happen.

Love this tanning shop, staff are friendly and hygiene is always on point.
