Allure Beauty Care

I had such a bad experience at this salon. My two usual Shellac salons were fully booked , so I found this one through Groupon which wasn't too far from where I live and was the same price for the feet and nail Shellac together, so I thought I'd give it a go.

I was seen by two ladies, the first took the skin off around my toes (which she did very slowly) and the second was responsible for shaping my nails and all the painting.

The second lady took far too long to complete the job. She blamed it on my cuticles (??) and said there was a lot of work to be done. She cut two of my cuticles deeply and they started to bleed. She kept apologising.
It felt like she was new to the job.
On a few occasions she did not know which tool to use and I had to pick one out of the pot and hand it to her suggestively. She asked me whether I wanted curved nails or square. I asked for in between the two. She proceeded to square them all off. At no point did I ask for squared off nails.

On to the painting. There were a few mistakes made where she had to keep starting again. By this point I was fuming.

As Shellac users know, once the polish has been set under the UV, it's a bit of hassle to remove and re-apply and the entire appointment had taken SUCH a long time, by now I was really losing my patience (without showing it).

During the entire appointment, all the workers proceeded to speak and have a laugh with each other in their native language. As a British ethnic minority myself, I find this very rude indeed, especially when one of the girls came over with her phone and showed the lady who was doing my nails a video.

Feet and nail Shellac took 3 hours all in all (it takes me an hour everywhere else including cuticle work) and to add insult to injury, I was asked to write in their comments and suggestions book at the end of the appointment to which I declined politely and got the hell out of there quickly.

The staff are fantastic and the care they took over my manicure and pedicure was second to none. I would have no hesitation in recommending Allure Beauty Care. I will definitely use them again

A great place if you want your threading and waxing done. The therapist is professional and doesn’t rush - unlike some of the other local salons I have tried.
Will be going back for more treatments!

I go to allure beauty regularly, usually for waxing and eyebrow threading. The ladder who work there are really professional and do a great job. I would also highly reccomend their hairstylist. I had an awful haircut from a place elsewhere and the lady at allure managed to salvage the situation and make it lok good which was a big task! Would definitely reccomend

A bit late but I thought to share my experience with this place. Went there for a facial around in January, the owner setup everything which looks like I will have a relaxing massage facial. She starts up with cream and phone rang so she left me, she came back started again, phone rang again and she left. It happen more then 5 times which made me so much annoyed. She gave me an excuse by saying it's her daughter calling from back home (Pakistan). At last she finished my facial, I paid and left. And never went back again as she wasted more of my time which is more important than her's.

I bought a voucher for my mum. The booking was very convenient and the therapists are very professional. My mum was really happy after her facial treatment. It is regular place.

I had swedish full body massage from Allure beauty care.it was so relaxing,the therapist was professional and helpful.would recommend to others and surely would be booking in my next session soon.

I had a great facial with a very knowledgeable therapist! my skin felt great afterwards and I would go again and would highly recommend this place
