Dear Lucinda James Salon,
I have been incredibly disappointed both with the treatment I received at your salon and also how my subsequent complaints have been handled since.
On the 23rd of August I booked into your salon to have a full leg, full arm, Brazilian bikini and underarm wax in preparation for my wedding.
After returning home and changing into a skirt I noticed that there were patches of hair left on my legs. I returned to the salon to have these removed.
The following day I noticed that one of my underarms had not been waxed and that I had only been given a high bikini which was also uneven.
I called the salon again and was advised that I could only have one treatment corrected that day and could come back the following week which was after my wedding!
I managed to have my underarm corrected but couldn't have the bikini redone correctly ( and what I had paid for).
I told the staff that this had been a completely unsatisfactory service and that considering I had to come back twice due to mistakes made by your staff and since the actual treatments that I had paid for were not provided that I should be entitled to a refund. She took my number down and told me I would get a call from the manager - a call I have still not received.
As you can imagine the days prior to a wedding can be very busy and stressful. Having to return to the salon on multiple occasions and subsequently being told that not all treatments can be completed - despite having paid for them is simply ridiculous at any time regardless of the fact that it was in the run up to a wedding. I understand mistakes happen but forgetting an entire area, leaving patches of hair and not only doing the wrong wax but also an unsymmetrical wax is frankly ridiculous.
To add to this, following the message I left in person I have left 3 further messages- none of which have been returned.
Is this how your salon normally conducts business?
