The team at So Criss House of Nails are really welcoming and always warmly greet you when you come in. The shop always looks very clean and is decorated really cute, there’s always music playing making a more relaxed atmosphere. The quality of their work is really high, both the nail and lash techs have always given me exactly what I’ve asked for, I’ve never walked out disappointed, I’m always really happy with the result of my treatments. They usually have deals on for amazing prices, which is really nice because you can treat yourself without paying really expensive prices like most salons, even without the deals, the treatments are more than affordable. So Criss also offer unique time slots and don’t close in the evening like most salons, they stay open until 3am! The girls are really kind and I love going there, they’re happy to talk if you’re up for a chat, or if you just want to relax and have some quiet time, they’re happy to do let you do that too without any awkwardness. They really make you feel like they care about their clients, they always wish you a safe trip home and tell you to be careful, little things like this make then different to the average salon. Overall, it’s a great salon and definitely my go to place!

It was my first time at So Criss nails and I can honestly say that I really enjoyed the service I received, I loved the way Fifi did my nails and the price was good as well.
I’ll definitely be back to get them done again ☺️

2 stars because communication was good. I went today, Friday 21st August 2020. I was the first person of the day arriving just before 10 at the same time as Sandra who opened the shop and she did my nails. I showed her a picture of what I wanted which was a simple nude. (pictures below) Unfortunately their options are very limited and this white was the most natural colour they had. When she first started on my cuticles, she did cut me on my right pinkie (she probably caught the skin) and I did bleed quite a bit (I probably should have walked away at that point) she wiped it with this a 'foam alcohol' but it kept bleeding so I decided to try and stem it myself by also using water to clean it and stop the bleeding. Because it wasn't cleaned properly you can literally still see the dry blood in the edge of my nail. After leaving I did use an alcohol wipe again particularly on the area and my antibac gel. The rest of the work speaks for itself. Uneven, not neat, already looks like it's growing out and very sharp (I explained I work with primary school children so she should have rounded the edges a little to make them blunt). The shellac used was clumpy and she had to keep shaking it and wiping the brush with tissue, I had about 3 coats put on and still not a standard of work that I've ever seen on their page. The shop also wasn't very clean, which is so important especially in covid times right now. I really enjoy the work I see on Instagram but I won't be returning.

No more words, pictures are talking by themselves. Unprofessional work, my nails are awful and I’ve got that lashes with gaps instead of the hybrid full set that I’ve paid for.
I felt like they have only watched some tutorials YouTube videos and try it on customers... Some members of the personal are not wearing masks and gloves. Total cost £90 for nothing.
The shop is not clean at all and they have a poor organisation (I have to wait for my appointment). Literally a WASTE of MONEY and TIME. Please AVOID this place, their instagram is just a marketing tool which hide the reality. However, the staff are jovial BUT it’s not enough when there is a lack of qualifications.

Came in with acrylics. They took them off correctly, nevertheless when it came to my actual nails and manicure really bad results. I even bled. I am thankful i didn’t get acrylics from them. The place is not clean, the towel under your hands and UV light look so dirty. I paid £25 for the gel manicure and it is definitely not worth that. My little cousin does it better. I feel bad for writing this because the girl was so nice, but honestly I think future customers should know where they are heading into. If you are looking for a proper manicure go to Oblique Nail Salon, only came to So Criss because Oblique doesn’t remove acrylics.

I booked to do my acrylic nails and lashes. I love my nails they are so beautiful and perfectly done. 🥰Thanks Channelle💝.
I did have an issue with my lashes, however, the manager was super nice about everything and got it corrected straight away with no bad vibes. Which is nice because a lot beauty places tend to put blame on the customer when it’s their fault. I must say this place has amazing customer service, friendly staff, great prices and yummy rum punches.💕

I had my eyelashes done by one of the lash techs, Indi, my eyelashes (volumes) came out exactly how I wanted and was well worth the price.
My appointment wasn't rushed and I felt super comfortable there. The salon itself was clean and tidy, things are also sanitised after every use. The staff there are extremely nice and make you feel comfortable. I would definitely rebook to do my eyelashes again here and will be trying out their nail services in the future!
