A Wildlife Trust should be a sanctuary for the innocent to be safe from harm. No snares, no fens traps, no shooting!!!! You decide there are too many deer. You decide to shoot them. It's not happening. There are too many humans, decide what to do about this!!!!

Carpets of bluebells, a range of butterflies including silver wash ones and the brown hairstreak of course. Mayflys and dragonflies can be found, some are sizeable beasts. Sometimes deer wander through. Very quiet and nice pub to chill in afterwards if you park at Flyford Arms. Can be very muddy so be prepared psychologically ;)

A calm, peaceful and relaxing reserve with spectacular views, walks and trails. I took a buggy around the woodland and the going was fine on this hot summer's day. Certainly wide enough for a buggy if you have the energy! A lot of wildlife to see in this tranquil place. Will take a different route next time for fun. Some traditionally made woodland benching hidden throughout and some steep stepped viewing towers too.

Great for butterflies - bit of a trek to get there but well worth it

beautiful place. Good long walk amongst ancient oaks. saw dragon flies, weird fungus, juniper, not too many people and the last of the blackberries.
