Glamour Forever

Gutted to give 2 stars as ive had great service in the Swansea store before today. I went for an eyebrow wax and the lady doing it had waxed my eyebrows but out of nowhere then started to thread the ingrown hairs out. She didnt even ask if i wanted it done which I didn't. She then tried telling me they were the same thing. I specifically asked for them WAXED as i hate threading.

After a bad review i made previous i decided to give this place a go again and now i wish i hadn't. After going there on monday for an eyebrow wax it felt very rushed as the lady doing it was doing two people at once. I looked at my eyebrows 2 days later and noticed they were wonky, different shapes, different sizes and just looked odd. After messaging them i went back hoping they could correct it but they didnt see what was wrong. When they showed me them in their mirror after waxing again they couldnt see what was wrong. Another member of staff said they looked lovely but i dont know how neither could see that they didnt even look slightly similar. And then they tried to thread them again aftet waxing i told the lady i asked for wax she told me she done it but needs to get the small hairs out. I just wanted them waxed i hate threading.

I feel worse now than i did before. I will now never be going to their Swansea store again. What a way to ruin my birthday as i feel like i cannot go out now.

Walked in on a busy Friday and was attended to immediately. Had an available nail slot 20 minutes later. My daughter had her nails painted in the mixed colours and glitter of her choice, she loved the fuss and attention. I had a full set of acrylics and gel polish. The staff were all lovely, polite, friendly and professional. My nails are excellent, they were applied very well and feel great! We will definitely be returning!

Sadly I can’t put less than one star. Staff are lovely but their products are so tacky. My nails, well, the tips were visible and separated from the acrylic within 24hours, all fell off within 72hours (THANK GOD) they looked like something my 4 year old niece had glued to me.
Lashes, wow, worst mistake ever. Within 24 hours my eyes were swollen from glue on my eye lids and lashes scratching my eyeball. Majority fell off within 48hours (thankfully).

When I contacted the team for refund, this was refused due to me being ‘a nail biter and was warned that they’d lift’. They did agree to remove my lashes for me but refused any refund for that also. Their shop was so awkward to get to, I ended up removing my lashes myself.

Would not recommend, will not return. I’ve proviously done better myself with primary products.

Amazing service really enjoyed having my nails done! The girls are really welcoming and lovely, would 100% go back and would definitely recommend to a friend. I got exactly what I wanted and was very happy with the result!

Been coming here for over 3years now with my daughter ..The service we get here is so welcoming off Chloe the nail technician she is so friendly and very professional at her job what ever you want she can do for you..whenever we have our nails done with her people comment how lovely they are. Thank you so much Chloe your a star..👍😁

I had my nails done here over 2 years ago for prom (only now posting as had my nails done again at Texas Nails in Neath and the service and quality there is excellent - £35 for acrylics that look gorgeous, done properly, took only an hour, have not budged or broken bearing in mind that I had them done over 2 weeks ago and work at Amazon and the woman who did my nails was lovely. I’m in love. It made me remember how poor my experience was at Glamour Forever). It cost me almost £45 and I was not told the price beforehand. All staff were rude - I have bad anxiety causing me to bite my nails a lot including the skin around the edges and they talked amongst each other about how awful my fingernails looked which made me feel upset and insecure. The woman doing my nails was doing 2 other hands at the same time and I was there for nearly three hours. She made me bleed multiple times and just let my fingernails bleed, did not bother wiping them. The colour I chose was gorgeous but it cracked straight away and all of the nails were wonky. I’m pretty sure they were stick on nails because none of the acrylic equipment was used but I’m not sure as it was my first time having acrylics. The next day every single nail came or broke off, luckily after the prom night had ended. So disappointed and will never return.

Worst acrylics I’ve ever had. when I got there the nail technician was busy (even though I had an appointment) so one of the other girls who doesn’t normally do nails started doing mine. She didn’t really know how and kept asking the technician when would she be free. She was obviously not very confident on nails. She didn’t do the shape I asked for and left them longer when I kept saying I wanted them shorter. Finally the technician was free and could finish my nails. She was good but the harm was already done. not even been two weeks later and two nails have already broken off. The staff wasn’t very nice apart from the nail technician.

Odd place. The service board says pedicure foot treatment. Asked for a pedicure and the strange Indian women said I don't do that only at the Cardiff store but I do eyebrow threading and she starts coming towards me with her thread. Odd woman, I stepped back and said I'm good the lovely Indian ladies in the market do my eyebrows and waxing.
