Such a horrible experience. I have come here to collect my prescription, I got told to wait 10 Minutes which I did. I waited the time to be told to wait or come back in another half and hour, I have also waited half and hour to be now told to wait another 10 Minutes. They are so rude at the counter and are hardly even at the reception, I am not even getting the service or my prescription. I have been sat here for over 30 Minutes with no proper service or what I need to get. Fix your service and your colleagues horrible attitude.

I visited Monday 24th October, afternoon. I had made a special journey for a soap & glory advent calendar. None on the shelf. I asked a lady, Tracy, to check and she sent Theo, the new young chap, to search the back storage. I was pessimistic and said to my friend "he's probably having a quick cigarette...", I was wrong; he appeared quite soon with the calendar, hooray! But then there was a misunderstanding as to what was a qualifying spend to receive the 3 for 2 parcel sticker offer. The manager was called, and, after a few minutes with my friend agreed the offer was not well advertised and we could purchase the goods at the lower price. A happy ending! Left happy, after I told Theo I loved him, poor young thing...Thank you the Boots team.x

Good .People need 2 buy insurance for their glasses at Boots Opticians when they buy their glasses. Boots Opticians will replace the 1st broken glasses on the insurance.

I'm a woman in my '50s and have a long standing disability. Not a visible one. However, one that has affected me for some time.

I went into the Watford branch as I had a gift card from Christmas. My intention was to purchase some treats and in particular  makeup. I walked into the Watford branch midweek using my crutches as my condition was active and I couldn't walk properly. It was apparent that I did not had a broken limb that I had a disability. As I walked into the store, I noted that women on the makeup counter and perfume counter visibly turned away as I approached and fussed around the counter. When I have been in the branch previously without a walking aid, the girls will often come up and ask if you need any help or any assistance. Or if they are promoting a perfume, as a woman, they will approach you. I've never had this experience previously and I found it extremely unsettling.

The only thing that I could determine from this experience was that the staff are extremely uncomfortable around disability and rather than act normal, they would prefer to turn around and act like I was invisible.
The staff need training. I'm not sure if Boots is a disability confident employer and whether they do in fact employ staff with disability. The staff lack confidence to work with disabled customers and I'm shocked at the experience I have had.

Tried phoning about an important prescription. The first time I called, someone obviously picked up by accident when trying to press the silence option because I could hear them occasionally typing and other staff conversations in the background. I tried repeatedly saying hello but was not heard so I eventually had to hang up. Every other time I tried calling it just kept ringing so I guess they weren’t as sloppy with hitting the silence button after that. Awful service.

Experienced excellent customer service from make up artist Jade. She was very helpful and made me feel comfortable with my skin. Definitely returning to the store

I visited Boots opticians today to take back a broken pair of Sunglasses, which I only bought 6wks ago, when I arrived there,I was greeted by a sullen, miserable assistant who really had no customer service what so ever!
I showed her my sunglasses & requested a refund, only to be told the "Manager" was not working today,so I would have to come back on after the weekend to sort this matter out...unbelievable,a big company like this had no other assistant there on a Saturday of a senior position!
Dreadful,staff,attitude....Will never go there again...
They need to train staff to be able to sort matters like this...unless they just don't care!...Nightmare.

I like the Boots offers. On the first floor Boots has a famous cosmetics brands, all on a one place. I met very kind professional employees . Today I had appointment at Clarins for express skin service. Clarins beauty coach Choukri , had a patience, and knowledge how to treat my face skin today. Get same free samples to try them at home and of course I bought some beauty products.
So as a their customer I left the shop very satisfied.
Worth to try ,and I will highly recommend it.
