All you need from a high street chemist. Lots of items to buy for all kinds of ailments and a perscription counter for the doctors special stuff. Friendly staff who are always there to help you with your medical problems

Staff did not have a clue about the new rule on linking the student card to Boots advantage card. Instead of seeking help from other colleagues or consult their company guideline, the woman who I spoke to, confronted me publicly. After involving another member of staff in the shop who resolved the problem, the woman started saying she has been on holiday, she has not been told about this new policy.

Boots Ilkeston needs to train their staff properly, and importantly not to blame customers for their own incompetence.

Best chemist in Ilkeston, staff are always so friendly even when extremely busy. The staff here are great

Superb. The ONLY pharmacy who answered my call and quickly provided useful information... We are being encouraged to use Pharmacy services more, but this HAS to mean that Pharmacies answer the phone when patients ring.

A small Boots with limited stock but very handy being in the centre of town. I was disappointed on my last visit at the lack of customer service. I literally had to walk around the shop looking for someone and eventually called out in the Pharmacy section "hello, anyone there?!" eventually someone came but I felt like I had interrupted her tea break rather than being a valued customer!

Very handy, as in the town centre. However, due to its location, its a lot smaller than their store at the Giltbrook retail park (about 2-3 miles away).
If you need the convience then it's great, but you have significantly more choice at their other store....and car parking is either too.
I can't fault them for service however.
