Bank House is a beautiful place to stay to visit the border of Wales and England. The Shropshire hills provide wonderful walking experiences. Gerry is a fabulous host and makes amazing cakes. The bedrooms are stunningly designed. A great place to spend time in comfort.

An amazing place. Bishop’s Castle is a lovely little town and this is a gem.
The rooms are absolutely stunning (I’ve stayed in two and seen another). They are large and well-appointed, with excellent bathrooms. The beds are incredibly comfy.
Gerry is a brilliant host, and makes a mean cake!

Highly recommend Bank House - it is exceptional and really good value for money. The house is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and light with very comfy beds. It was really clean and a beautiful home made lemon drizzle left in the room. Breakfast was great and Gerry was a great host - a good mix of available but not intrusive. We went as a large family group and would definitely go again.

Just back from a 3 night stay at the Bank House Bed and Breakfast. Gerry, the host, is exceptional. Helpful, friendly and also a superb cook. We stayed on the Caradoc room. This is a large room with a very comfortable super king bed with high quality linen. The bathroom is also very large with a free standing bath and separate shower. The home made lemon drizzle cake (not just a couple of slices, a whole cake!) in our room was delicious. As was the shortbread. Breakfast was also excellent. Made freshly once at your table with locally sourced products. Overall, a great place to stay and highly recommended.
