Claremont Guest House

A lovely stay at a well-run guest house. Room was clean, breakfast was tasty and Jasmine was friendly and helpful at all times. Road was a little noisy with passers-by in the night but that is only to be expected in a city centre guest house, and no serious disturbance. Claremont Guest House had everything I needed and was very convenient.

Rooms are a decent size located near the centre 10 mins from train station owner very nice and friendly easy check in comfy bed separate toilet and shower

Very friendly and helpful I forgot my phone lead and they lent me one nothing was to much trouble. Breakfast was very nice tea and coffee was in the room and toiletries. Very clean and welcoming plus parking would definitely recommend

Stayed here recently and unfortunately lost my driving licence but the owner was good enough to get it in the post to me just a few days later

The place was disgusting. The rooms were not cleaned as supposed. I have paid for a double room with a double bed confirmed twice by the property I got there it was 2 single beds. It happened with more people there. Booking made several attempts to contact them but they literally ignored.
The manager was supposed to speak with us didn't even showed up or said a word, no effort to accommodate us or partially refund us.
A disgrace and shameful place. They have scammed us!

Very nice B&B sent 4 nights nan made us so welcome clean rooms very good breakfast good parking TV coffee and tea in room shower en suite comfortable beds and we will return when we come to Southampton again 2 adults 1 baby stayed. our little boy when free but still nan got us a cot for him and she didn't need to do a breakfast for him but she did which we were very impressed with.
