From the time we booked in to the time we left, Carol made us feel as though we had known her as family. The accommodation was always very clean and the food was excellent. There was never a time that when asking for different food that it was to much trouble. I will be staying again soon as our stay there was to short. Very comfortable room with all mod/cons available 24/7. Missing you already, Dave and Katrina Simpson.

Took my friend for afternoon tea as a special birthday treat as she had never had afternoon tea before, what a disappointment. The lady whom I presume is the owner was offhand and impolite, the tablecloth was full of stains, pot of tea arrived about 10 minutes before the food (no tea cosy) so was cold by the time the food came, sandwiches were bland but the bread was nice and fresh, cakes were stodgy. The lady then went off upstairs to sort out a guest room so I had to ask the gentleman at the next table to give her our money (definitely not worth £14.50 each) Not impressed and will not be returning

Lovely tea shop, had delicious scones & jam. You can book functions there, wedding parties and B & B. Lobely lady who runs it. Highly recommended.

Gorgeous traditional tea room, small and intimate with the most wonderful host. She makes all the food herself, which is absolutely delicious. Will 100% be returning, the best afternoon tea experience we've had yet, and we have had many an afternoon tea!

My husband and I had afternoon tea at The Willows. It was fabulous, all food made fresh and the setting is really lovely. Thank you Carol.

Had afternoon tea and it was brilliant. Great sandwiches, cakes and scones, with an Eton mess thrown in for good measure.

The best takeaway food in lock down! Superb home cooked meals with a great variety. We had the lamb shank and the liver and bacon and they were both divine. Portion sizes are generous and they cater well for gluten intolerance. You need to order the day before as everything is cooked properly but it is 100% worth it.
