Welcoming and friendly owners, couldn't have asked to meet a nicer couple. Fantastic place, very peaceful location. Brilliant rooms very comfortable. Breakfast very tasty and great choice. Thank you Millwood Lodge.

Great place to stay, owners were great very hospitable. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety on offer.
Family room was spacious and has all basic requirements. Only downside was that the wardrobes need a refresh as were dated, and areas in the bathroom repainting due to marks ect.

Absolutely beautiful, quirky but stunning country style B&B/Hotel. Lovely people running it. Nice for couples a quiet night away. Fantastic breakfast. Tasteful decor. I loved the "Yellow Room". Thank you for a lovely stay.

Fantastic place in a great location. Lovely decorated lounge, seating area and breakfast area. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay within the Barrow, Urswick or Ulvatston area. David and Kathryn were very nice and the breakfast was something special (give the Granny Chadwick Bananna a go it's fab).

What a gem of a place! Hosts went far and beyond. really comfortable and cosy house. Felt like a home. Great Service, Great Food and Great Company. Highly recommend a stay if you get a chance!

Great hidden away guest house. Within reach of The Lake District. Comfortable rooms and Dave cooks a fantastic breakfast. Lovely garden to relax during the evening.

Really lovely, relaxed and quiet B&B. Covid safe. Had yellow room which was HUGE!
The breakfast was brilliant and biggest selection I've ever seen, all cooked fresh.
