Appletree Guest House

On first impression it wasn't too bad, and was a decent price. But for a 'guest house' it had no tv, which seemed strange. Then there was only a mattress on the floor, and the bed was out in the hallway?? There were slug trails in the room and on the bed sheets. The curtains wouldn't draw and the noise coming from upstairs was ridiculous, drunken arguments. The place does actually have potential but needs money putting into it and someone who knows what there doing. When reporting all the issues, we did get a lower rate but it ended up being to much and we left, eventually gettin some money back. If it doesn't get improved I'd say to avoid this place

Terrible stay, window is on a slant, damp rooms, noisy neighbour's. Cost is ridiculous, no room service, landlord snoopy and enters rooms without 24 hour notice. All previous review by landlords friends and family hense only 1 review per person (fake accounts). Best thing ever was to leave.. pending investigations.

Had a very comfortable stay. Room clean, tidy, bed very comfortable and plenty of room.
Good facilities in room.
Will stay here again!

When I stayed there, there was no heating and no way of contacting the owners for issues, even in June the room was cold and there was no way of turning the heating on.

Absolutely disgusting. Not fit if you have any kind of decency. Noisy scum neighbours talking about ‘kicking people’s doors in’ smoking right outside our room. Gas leaking from the fridge causing headaches and a migraine. Filthy shower cubicle. Hairs within the bed, doesn’t seem to have been washed. Mould growing in the washing machine. Revolting. We were put here by the council, it’s not fit for flys to live in.

I must say my stay at Appleteee Guest house was very pleasant. James the owner was extremely kind generous and polite.The perfect english gentleman. The rooms were clean and modern and of a high standard.My stay at the Guest house was the best part of my week in Redditch.I have returned twice more since and would highly recommend The Appletree guest and James is a most excellent host and owner.

I was out here in emergency accommodation, thisnolace is not fit for a dig with fleas the owner should be ashamed of himself . The local authority pay him to help homeless familys and the place is disgusting

Holes in the door, no lights, graffiti and blood on the walls, cold, damp, sticky floors, facilities were non existent. Owner was polite though.
