My husband and found this gorgeous place while looking to get away from a busy Paris stay. Being from the US, we didn't know the area but looked for reviews to guide us, so I'm hoping mine can help someone as well.
We came in around 10:00 PM and the owners greeted us so warmly and welcome. We really needed to see smiling faces and a nice place but we didn't know just how nice it was going to be. The room was very comfortable and welcoming. It seems the owners thought of everything you might need and then some. We stayed in the Garden Room. It had such amazing views over the hills and I simply adored watching the sheep run far off in the distance. The tub was a nice surprise, in that there was one instead of a shower only. They also have a very nice hot tub/sauna building that is separate from the house but we didn't use it because we were so busy but it also boasted killer views, glasses for your favorite beverage and towels. We woke, dressed and walked into an amazing room with killer views and a breakfast to suit any taste. She laid out a breakfast that was truly memorable. There is also a hot menu to choose from, if you like.
We stayed three nights, enjoyed the surroundings, castles and the White Cliffs of Dover, Canterbury all very close by.
We saw another B & B at the bottom of their hill, but if you wondering if it's a toss up...nope. Alkham Court may be our favorite stop on 15 days in Europe. We would have loved to enjoy the company of the owners, Neil and Wendy more as they were such hard working, lovely people.

Great location, really quiet. Very friendly hosts and tasty local food for breakfast. Spotless rooms and beautiful views. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful b&b with very friendly and welcoming hosts. Room was spacious and comfy. The breakfast was amazing. Easy to reach places such as Dover Castle and Folkstone. Also within an easy drive to other areas of interest. Will definitely stay here again

Beautiful place to stay, couldn't fault anything. Great sauna and hot tub. They were great hosts, couldn't do enough to help. Lovely area to stay. Brilliant breakfast.

Wow, what a place. Beautifull location, not far from local pubs/ places to eat. Wendy and Neil cannot do enough for you, you only have to ask and its there. Detail in the rooms is second to none from lavender spray to help you sleep, irons, hairdryers and even a sm decanter of port, I could go on and on, just perfect. We will definitely stay here again if we are this way. Fantastic. Thankyou both!

Wow. What a wonderful experience. The scenery, the room, the food, the hot tub, the location. Just wow. We have really enjoyed our time here and will definitely be back. The hospitality we recieved was second to none. Thank you!! x

Ita really nice place, the owner is lovely and friendly, Breakfast was amazing, beautiful location, I highly recommend it. The reason I did not give 5 star is because of narrow road going through the property.
