Absolutely wonderful. Accomodations were cozy and so comfortable. Pub down the street has amazing food. Easily the finest stop on our trip. Highly recommend.

Loverly little place with all we needed. Early start so didn’t expect breakfast but I was wrong. Served in our own breakfast room too.
Secure parking right outside our room.

A cosy room with every kind of continental breakfast you could wish for. Spotlessly clean and warm and welcoming hosts. Plus a fantastic view. We will be back.

Excellent. Nothing was too much trouble.
There was a warm welcome from Janice who showed me into a spotless en-suite room.
The room was very comfortable indeed and the courtyard garden certainly had humour and lifted the spirits!
Congratulations Janice - it is all a great success!

We stayed 4 nights, 15th - 18th July 21(rail end of covid restrictions) . Beautiful room with en suite shower/toilet. Big fluffy towels. Bed was comfortable. Everything was lovely and clean loads of little gestures to make it perfect, chilled water left in the room everyday, even though I made the bed it was tweaked to perfect. Towels changed and dry every day. Big windows to get air (which was needed as we happened to choose to stay during a heatwave). There was also a fan in in the room if we needed it. Breakfast was continental because of covid but lush fruit salad freshly prepared everyday, fresh bread (variety of different ones) croissants. Choice of cearals and museil. Fresh chilled orange juice. Again lots of little detail juice served in their own little bottles, as was the milk. The garden has loads of lovely features to check out and a couple of places we could sit if we wished. We visited Capernwray Quarry, only a mile and a bit down the road so fab if your a scuba diver!! Our visit was primarily to go to Cartmel races which was half an hour away and so easy to get to. We totally recommend this property if your a racegoers or a diver or just visiting the area. Morecombe was also half hour away and lots of other little beaches to stop off at along the way. Also Heysham with historic rock graves. Something for everyone. The host and her family are very friendly and really looked after us. We certainly intend to visit again.
