The White Stag Lodge

Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was lovely and clean and had everything we needed for a short break with the family. Really liked the fact that we could come and go as we pleased with our own key at any time. We were pretty much left to our own devices.

An amazing find. Lovely room in a fabulous small family run pub. Landlord amazing and couldn't help enough, same for the lovely young lady behind the bar. The night ended chatting away to the landlord, bar lady and two other couples both staying there too who hadn't met before either. Such a lovely atmosphere and the rooms are all recently refurbished. Lovely complementary breakfast too. All great and hope to go back very soon.

Very clean room and nice shower. Drawbacks: no obvious Signposting from road so a little hard to find and room above pub so if you like to go to sleep early it is a bit noisy . Breakfast basket was superb

The food is discusting on a Sunday carvey tough meat hard potato's no menus given out just told whats for starters mains and desserts no pricing at all...
so your given a huge bill for very over priced meal that's earned than a microwave meal and the dessert are actually heated on the microwave...

I STRONGLY ADVISE N0T TO VISIT THIS PLACE IS DISCUSTING AND COST YOU OVER 100 FOR 3 PEOPLE TO EAT...

Lovely room , stayed just as a stop over ,so didn't explore the area but everything was in a nice standard in the hotel , do hope they put a little rubbish bin in the room and a couple of glasses in the bathroom ,only a very small comment

The staff was friendly and smiling! The bed in the room was so comfortable, but I think more attention should be paid to cleaning! Pub is good, but the pizzas were not good! I was not fascinated by breakfast!

Beautiful place, absolutely friendly bar staff. We arrived to Earl for food , but had coffees and lager shandys. Think will book for a Sunday lunch and try their food.
