Lovingly restored art Deco property and our room was spotless. Kat and Spencer have spent a huge amount of time restoring their B&B and made us feel very welcomed. They try to use and source organic products wherever possible. It's a lovely B&B in Minnis Bay and I would have no hesitation in recommending this place. They are also genuinely lovely people. Nx

Fantastic stay as part of my birthday treat. Wonderful hospitality by Kat and Spencer who have enthusiastically restored this Art Deco gem to pristine condition. We stayed in the Amy Johnson themed room full of interesting memorabilia. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of locally sourced ingredients. Spencer even baked my favourite lemon cake as a birthday surprise !! Having stayed at The Burgh Island Hotel and The Midland Hotel, Morecambe I can assure future guest of an equally amazing experience.

The rooms are decorated meticulously with with various high quality art-deco elements. 5-star hospitality as the host is clearly passionate about every aspects of making her guests have the best experience. She volunteered to drive us to a wedding venue (a member of our party is the celebrant of the wedding) as she noticed that we were nervous about getting there on-time. Vegetarian and vegan breakfast was served super fresh and sourced locally. This is a hidden-gem!

Great friendly hospitality, beautiful building, quiet and spotlessly clean and the best poached eggs. Can’t recommend highly enough. These guys really have a ‘nothing is too much trouble’ attitude making it the best place to stay on Thanet.

So good! Excellent location, too with Margate, Broadstairs and Ramsgate being within easy reach. But the house itself is a real gem - so tastefully restored and decorated. We loved the Deco vibe, but there are also mid-century and Bowie themed rooms available. We delighted in the deco suite, with its own balcony area, where we were able to enjoy delicious breakfasts - most of the fruit being grown in the garden. The hospitality provided by Kat and Spencer just added to the most positive stay at this Art Deco wonder.
We would wholeheartedly and unreservedly recommend the Twentieth Century B&B.

My wife and I stayed in the David Bowie room for a weekend trip, the room was a bit small but for the price, the incredible hospitality and the delicious breakfasts, it was well worth it! (If you want to spend a little more, I would recommend one of the other rooms as they are a lot bigger, but if you aren't spending much time in your room, the Bowie is just fine, it has its own private bathroom next door too).

The hotel itself is in a stunning art deco building and the interior decor of the breakfast room matches really well, teaming with Bauhaus objects, I was fascinated and couldn't stop looking around the room. The breakfast is locally sourced and very delicious, as I mentioned before. The hosts were gracious and really eager to make us feel welcome, you can tell they were clearly dedicated to their calling of running a Bed and Breakfast. Highly recommended, worth the stay if you're visiting Margate too, it's only a 10-minute drive away, and Minnis bay itself is stunning!

We stayed at the Twentieth Century B&B on NYE for one night only (sadly) - I wish I had more days to spend at this amazing place! I was absolutely blown away by this place. The amount of love, care and effort that have gone into renovating the building by the owners Kat and her partner is phenomenal. Everything is true to the era and its style. It was like walking into a time machine. The hospitality was outstanding, Kat is a brilliant host, she told us all about the history of the the building and gave us a tour of the other rooms. Breakfast was hands down the best breakfast I have ever had at a B&B with the best vegetarian sausages (two different kinds!). We were also lucky to taste Kat's home-made scones (cheddar, blue cheese and fruit scones). We stayed in the Bowie room which was full of unique touches and artefacts, it was clean and the bathroom was also spotless. We are definitely going back to try the other rooms! Can't recommend this place enough. Has to be seen and experienced <3
