Lovely getaway cottage. Stayed with a couple of friends before a wedding. It was perfect. Stunning setting, very relaxing, a big pool and sunbathing chairs. The owner is lovely and made us a wonderf breakfast of our choice - the californian eggs were delicious. Would definitely go back if needing somewhere to stay in the area.

As a sympathetically modernised stable block adjacent to an ancient farmhouse with beautiful walled gardens, in a rural setting but within easy walking distance of the city with its glorious Cathedral and Abbey ruins this is the epitome of luxurious but homely B&B accommodation.

We absolutely loved our stay here at the Old Stable. Joanna is a wonderful host and the accommodations are beautiful and modern with country charm. The bed in the hayloft was comfy and cozy and the ensuite was beautiful, modern and well thought out. The breakfast was delicious and freshly homemade, save room; You won’t need lunch for sure! We will happily stay here again when next in Bury. Thank you for the great visit.

Wow. Only our first night over and I don't have enough superlatives to describe this b&b. It is so much more....from excellent hosting from the most charming and welcoming Joanna to the amazing accommodation right through to delicious and so satisfying breakfast overlooking the pool.just perfect. You wont find better. Looking forward to the rest of our stay.The location is excellent and so many places to visit we are spoiled fir choi ce.

We had a wonderful stay. Our room was lovely, breakfast was delicious and the surroundings are beautiful. Most of all, Joanna was the perfect host and made us feel so welcome. Can't wait to visit again!

I,my husband and family had a three night stay at this lovely B and B It suited our needs completely with lots of homemade goodies and freshly baked bread for breakfast. It has lovely surroundings with the added bonus of a swimming pool. We will definitely be back for another visit.Thank you Joanna and Chris
