We came to the area for a 50 th wedding Anniversary. Our friends found the Lodge. We had a super time at the party, the icing on the cake was the Lodge. Super hosts, wonderful breakfast and very cosy room. Thank you

We stayed at The Lodge CL site rather than the B&B. Well drained good sized pitches, which were separated by shrubs. Basic facilities, EHU to each pitch, fresh water points at a central area and a waste point for toilets. The lane into site had a few very large potholes and is gravelled rather than tarmaced. A fishing pool is also available. Well placed to explore the nearby nature reserve or if you'd rather explore further afield on the doorstep of the potteries, Alton Towers, Trentham Gardens, Bridgemere,Snugburys etc.

Gorgeous spot with beautiful views. Absolute hidden gem. Selfishly I don't want to let everyone know how lovely it is LOL.

Actually it's caravan park now they no longer run a B&B. First impression was very nice we parked our caravan up my first job is the electric cable so out comes the lead and plugged into the caravan unwind the cable and plug into the mains a problem couldn't find it I then spotted it in the edge hidden in amongst nettles weeds and other plants meaning I had to clear an area to plug I still managed to nettle myself then the toilet block 2 toilets and 2 showers for all to use bit awkward to say the least automatic light on entr but switches off way to soon plus on a nice day you can get a bit of a smell from the drains but after all that it's very well kept with a fishing pond and it's very close to the site of the memorial for the Mini Pit where a lot of Men & Boys lost their lives it's a bit overgrown as you can see by the photos.
