The Poplars B&B and Holiday Cottages

Arrived ahead of time to go to a wedding, we were greeted by friendly staff and shown to our room which was lovely. We asked about finding a local taxi firm and the lady said if we couldn't get one in time she would arrange for her husband to run us there which was a lovely gesture, we got up the next morning to enjoy our lovely freshly cooked breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return.

I will be stopping here again as it was very clean & the staff very friendly and other guests were friendly too. Made some new friends. Trust me you won’t be disappointed when booking here. Very close to Thirsk about 30 mins walk. Take a look at the pictures of the room in the Cottage. We were shown the lodges which were impeccably clean.

Stayed in the cottages and had a great time. Plenty of utensils in the cottage if you want to cook. Bed was very comfy. Great location - walking distance to town too. Overall would happily stay again.

Comfortable nice cottage. Close to the station but quite a walk from Thirsk so best if you have a car.

What a lovely place to stay home from home !! Why would you pay to stay at travel lodge or premium Inn when you can stay here

Wow....

From the moment we arrived we loved this beautiful place.

Amanda greeted us in arrival and asked if we wanted tea and cake in the garden...if course ..it would be rude not to.

The room was spotless, clean and very well decorated.

Breakfast was great, local quality food and cooked fresh to order.

Amanda was happy to suggest places to visit and was just so helpful.

Would definitely stay again. * * * * *₩

Lovely place to stay, friendly owner, surrounded by beautiful countryside and great accommodation. Located near shops and pubs too so great location, nothing more you could want or ask for. 👍👍
