Fantastic stay, lovely spacious room. Really appreciated the quirky eclectic decor in the public areas… a feast for your eyes.
Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had at any hotel.
Perfect hosts, would find an excuse to visit the area again.
Check out the village pub… equally inviting.

Best b&b we ever stayed at. Fantastic rooms, lovely people, amazing and unique decor and the best breakkfast too. Thanks.

I cannot put into words how great our experience was here, the owners looked after us so well and with such a wonderful and personal touch. The hotel itself is incredibly unique and ecclectic with a very cosy and welcoming vibe in general. My room was cosy, comfortable and exactly what I wanted, with a very comfortable bed and all the amenities I could want. We'll definitely be returning (despite having no particular occasion to go directly, so we'll have to find a reason). Thanks again to everyone at the Chalk and Cheese which made my stay so amazing!

My wife and I stayed for one night on 7/9/22. It was a very pleasant stay in a "Antique shop", with an excellent breakfast, and will stay again. A special thank you to Linda.

Great place to stay. Our hosts made us so welcome. The cosy and comfy bed made for a good night's sleep. Loved the quirky artisan environment. Tasty breakfast in the conservatory. Would stay again.

Andrew, Bridget, the lady serving breakfast - apologies I didn’t get your name - and the pets, were all extremely friendly and made us both feel very welcome.
Our room (with the 4 poster) was really comfortable and breakfast was delicious.
We loved the querkiness of the place and the antique shop just added to the enjoyable stay.
Dinner at the local pub (not even 5 minutes away) was really nice, again with friendly welcoming staff.
We will definitely return. Thank you all x
