I cannot recommend this B&B enough. The location is excellent, bang on the Dales National Park southern border with great views in every direction.

Tudor House itself is well furnished, cosy and spotlessly clean. Parking is no problem either, there is plenty right outside.

The owners Bob and Sheila were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Managing to get a perfect balance of being there when you needed them, but never being in any way intrusive. As soon as you walk in it feels like a home from home, and Bob and Sheila are old friends you're visiting.

We have every intention of going back to this hidden gem in an amazing landscape. Our next stay can't come soon enough!

Excellent stay from start to finish. Fantastic room, and amazing breakfast. The hosts couldn’t do enough to make us feel any more safe and comfortable in the current COVID climate. I’ll be coming again, and recommending to all my friends.

Everything is 5 star.super comfy bed with luxury linen. The rooms are fantastic and spacious with really fab showers. We had the room with seating area which was welcomed after a long day walking.Complimentary wine and cake on arrival set the scene of relaxation bob and Shiela can't do enough for you and are such great hosts.Breakfast is quality fare and sets you up for the day with fresh fruit, cereals and a full cooked breakfast. Its a must return destination as you won't find anything better in the whole of the Dales.1 day is not enough as you are really well placed for exploring this part of the dales.we will definitely be back for more of this wonderful relaxing experience. Thanks Bob and Shiela for a wonderful break.

This stunning old railway station has been beautifully renovated to a high standard. With the odd train and railway paraphernalia.
You are greeted by your friendly hosts sheila and Bob who are wonderfully hospitable, from the start of your stay to leaving. Dave and myself had a spacious room looking down the train line and a stunning view of the area.
A lovely range of teas and coffee, massive double comfy bed.

Well what can I say, this is a wonderful B&B with great character, which I can highly recommend. We stayed here over this past weekend (two adults) and from arriving to our departure, we could not fault our experience at all. The B&B is in a beautiful setting on the southern edge of the Yorkshire Dales, very picturesque. The rooms, which are outstanding offer great views over the stunning countryside and the town of Skipton is a short drive away.
When you arrive, you are sure to get a very warm welcome by friendly owners/hosts who make you feel at home and very welcome.
The B&B is very homely and cosey, clean, modern and well kept, and has lovely original features and is very tastefully decorated. The room we stayed in was fantastic. A large double bed, which was very comfy, so comfy I didn’t want to get out of it!. Crisp white bedding, lovely cushions over the top, bedside table each side with lamps. The room had high ceilings with a lovely chandelier which was over the bed area, and spotlights else where and also came complete with a coffee machine, biscuits and mugs etc, should you require these. Also a robe each hung in a walk in cupboard, which has a rail to hang jackets etc, a dressing table with stool, with mirror and hair dryer. The bathroom had an excellent shower with a large over head shower head, lovely white towels, body wash and other little essentials should you require these. Very modern en-suite bathroom. Our room also came with a flat screen tv and a small seating area with two comfy chairs. We got a great nights sleep, occasionally a train passes by but this didn’t bother us at all.
Breakfast was served in a lovely homely dining area, with a view over the railway. There is a great selection of cereals, including muesli, with fruit such as kiwi, various berries, yogurts you can help yourself to. Also a selection of cold fruit juices. Great, professional table service for hot drinks and a cooked breakfast, which you can choose from a variety of options. I choose the eggs benedict meal and partner chose the ‘full monty’ full English breakfast. We had toast on the side and a pot of tea and a coffee. We didn’t leave any, it was delicious and cooked to perfection.
There is also plenty of parking outside on a large driveway and the B&B is easy to find from the main road. We were also lucky enough on Sunday evening to watch the Flying Scotsman steam train pass by, which was great to see. We can’t recommend this B&B enough for those wishing to stay in this part of Yorkshire. We have both said we would definitely return and have already recommended a stay here to others. Thank you :)
