The utmost in hospitality greeted us from the very second we arrived. Met with delicious tea and homemade biscuits, attentively ushered to our commodious and pristine room, we felt most welcome. At hand with advice, engaging tales and directions, Duncan and Janet tended to our stay as if we were beloved family members and not paying travelers. Their home, demeanor, knowledge and kindness will continue to grace my memory.

They deserve five stars but unfortunately we did not get any clean towels in a week's stay. Perhaps we should have put the old ones in the bath. Everything else was superb. Duncan and Janet could not have been more friendly and helpful, even producing a little map of places to eat and local walks . The house and garden is lovely. The room and en suite were delightful, clean and comfortable. The location is superb and the breakfasts great. Pity about the towels.

Good cooked breakfast with several other options available like porridge and fruit cup. Very quiet neighborhood. Easy access from highway. Private parking. Very good overview of area activities with special map. Recommendations on restaurants were accurate.

The hosts were very welcoming and friendly and extremely helpful with our planning. They also made us vegan breakfasts which was greatly appreciated. Would highly recommend if you're planning on visiting the area.
