The Rickyard B&B

We were lucky to find this superb BnB when we ( a couple from mumbai and a couple settled in uk) were searching for a decent place to stay in Gower during our recent ( 1st week of July 2017) sojourn of Wales.
The Rickyard BnB is a beautiful house with 3 very well furnished luxurious bedrooms ( with ensuite luxurious bathrooms ) and a spacious dining hall. It is in the same gated community as Croft Acres which consists of many cottages by the seaside.
The Port Eynon seashore is just a 3 minute walk from this BnB. There is also an awesome pizza pub very close by.
The best part of this BnB was the was their manager Jitu Shelar & his wife Anu who both happened to be originally from Mumbai India. They treated us warmly like long lost family from india. While Jitu went out of his way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable , Anu , who is an excellent cook , prepared some awesome Indian breakfast for us during our 4 days stay at Gower. We now remember each day in Port Eynon by the breakfast we had that morning😊.
We had the opportunity to have a drink with the owner Jeffry Grove. Despite being an extremely wealthy landlord in Gower , Jeffry loves to visit Mumbai often and move around like a commoner. He regaled us with his experiences on the local trains and haircutting saloons in Mumbai and his mimicry of auto-rickshaw drivers .
All in all, our 4 days at Rickyard BnB made our 10 day sojourn of Wales extra special and extra memorable .
We definitely intend to go there again in future and would recommend to our friends visiting UK to spend some days with the Shelars at Rickyard BnB .

Lovely bed & breakfast, nice choices for cooked breakfast and very friendly hosts 🤣 located right by the beach and on the same site as several holiday cottages, a couple are dog friendly 🐕😆 I'm sure we'll be back xx

We found this place by accident, just happened to be in Port Eynon and sought this place out, as a result of previous good reviews. So glad we did! Absolutely immaculate rooms and top notch customer care. The room was quiet, comfortable and exceptionally clean. Breakfast was first class and service second to none. Reasonably priced and very close to a pub and a restaurant. Faultless accommodation and service. Highly recommended.

Excellent location in Port Eynon - central for beach and pubs.
The venue was ideal for a group to stay as well as individuals - felt like own home with rooms on ground floor, close to large breakfast room. Process for breakfast was efficient and the quality of food was fantastic with plenty of choice. The venue included free parking and free internet access - parking is limited in Port Eynon so big bonus! The rooms were extremely clean with modern built-in furniture and a lovely garden to enjoy the sun!

Lovely B & B 2 minute walk from beach and coastal paths. Great location. Clean, great service and breakfast. Excellent host very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend

I booked the Rickyard at fairly short notice for my Grandma because we were celebrating a family long birthday weekend. Jitu and his team were 100% excellent with Cunard-level standards of customer care and attention, and the location speaks (sings!) for itself. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Also very fair pricing given the late booking.

Great service, immaculate rooms and just off the beach.

Lovely spacious room with a big bathroom and lovely strong/warm shower - plus you're right on the beach! Sadly no beachview but only a short 5 minute walk to the front.
