We stayed at Plas Bwlch in late July 2015 and received the warmest of welcomes from Pauline, despite the fact that we were dripping wet having walked over the hills from Caersws. Our room was very comfortable and well equipped. The ensuite bathroom was excellent with many quality towels and toiletries. For supper Pauline very kindly took us into nearby Llangurig where we ate and drank in the Bluebell. She was good enough to collect us later as well. Breakfast was very good and we left after a very pleasant stay and a very reasonable bill.

very comfortable stay in this cozy B&B. Pauline and Michael are welcoming and great hosts happy to engage in conversation. they have two dogs, I am terrified of dogs, however they keep the dogs away from guest areas thus you'd not even know they had them. Pauline showed me a seperate enterance I could use specifically to keepy. mind at ease that I'd not come face to face with the dogs.

Fresh eggs are available for breakfast and I was provided with a packed lunch for the day I checked out.

It's easy to drive right past the B&B... if you're driving from east to west, look out for a sign that says "eggs" on the left. if you're driving from West to east and miss it, you'll be able to easily turn around a few hundred yards ahead.

my thanks to Pauline and Michael

Fantastic hosts, when we told them I was gluten intolerant they bought bread and sausages specially! We were on bikes and they were safely put in the barn at night. Highly recommended....

Disappointed.
Although the hosts were wonderful, very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was lovely, the location was beautiful with incredible scenery nearby.
Unfortunately the room was dated, it was cold and damp. There was spider webs all over the walls and in corners. We had to remove several spiders from the room and bathroom multiple times. The shower was handheld with no curtain or screen so the bathroom got soaked everytime you use the shower. It was difficult to gauge the water temperature properly as it was either piping hot or freezing cold.

It fulfilled a purpose....exceptionally well! The owners are accommodating and communicative. The room was lovely and clean and the bed was comfortable. The location is superb and I will most definitely be back and sharing with my other angling friends. You really get a feeling that the owners care about their business. Thank you for a lovely overnight rest stop.
