Frondderw Country House

We stayed for 2 nights in the Bala room (which overlooks the lake) 3rd September - 5th September. From the second we pulled up me and my partner were stunned by the views and by the service the lovely Veronica provided. From helping out where we could go to eat (as I have an allergy) to finding various walks around the area which suited our hiking level. The breakfast was served with local meat cooked which was a fanatic start to the day. You can tell that both her and Paul love what they do. We would love to stay again. Thank you.

Comfortable B&B with good views, a bit pricey. Parking can be an issue, more rooms than spaces.

We decided to stay here at last minute and thankfully was a great base for the long weekend in Wales. Veronica is a fantastic host and could not do enough for us during the trip, booking taxis to restaurants, providing information about things to do in the area etc. Really made us feel at home. The house is in a lovely location overlooking the lake and a short walk from the town. Room's were clean and comfortable and breakfast was excellent every morning.

Lovely country house in quiet location within walking distance of Bala town. Fabulous breakfast with fresh fruit and locally sourced meat for the English breakfast.

Amazing b&b, the owner couldn't have been more attentive and helpful. We had a beautiful stay. Must book if you're in the area.

This was our Base for the bala swim event a lovely old house in a lovely setting with beautiful view of the lake and absolutely wonderful hosts.the home cooked freshly prepared breakfast was absolutely wonderful, highly recommended however, sadly for us public they are retiring shortly and it is hopeful that's the new owners whoever they may be will continue to run it as a B&B and hopefully retain the ambience that it has,as it would be such a shame to lose such a lovely property.

Everything about this house is brilliant. It wasn't b&b when as a family party of 19 we stayed. Very spacious, lovely rooms, great outside area, lovely location. Highly recommend.
