Excellent venue,place to stay. We took 2 bicycles, they stored in the washing room for us . Twin room, the decor and bathroom was dated but we paid £35 each including a cooked breakfast in a good location close to Bangor centre in May. Had a few drinks in the bar below, good student style vibes. Cheap but good selection of drinks and live sport. Breakfast nice. I would recommend this place for people wanting to experience the nearby adventures and outdoors. Service from staff very friendly.

Budget hotel ideal for visiting your student sibling. good location for the zip line. View from beer garden is good. Easy reach of town and a short walk to the pier 3/4 mile

This place is totally fine, despite a lot of negative reviews. Staff were friendly, rooms were clean, and the hotel is well situated near the rail station as well as a lovely walk along the Menai Strait. Yes, the rooms are dated. But the price is good. Bed was comfortable. Would recommend booking a room on the top floor, away from the music. Only issue I had was some loud drunks outside the building between 3 am and 4 am. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Had a lovely 2 night stay for son's graduation. A warm welcome. Nicely cooked breakfast. Room 9 clean and comfortable. Will definitely visit the hotel again. Matt the manager very helpful and friendly.

I had to stay in this hotel for a weekend, unfortunately cancelled it because of upcoming train strike. Cancelled it over two weeks before due date, and still get charged full amount. NOT recommended 👎

Shame really old building and so we're the amenities. No lift shower over bath just didn't work and was cold beds were clean but mattress not great . Linen was not hotel standard. A real missed opportunity as there are so few places to stay in walking distance of town. My stag was so I could see my son at university

The bouncer is power mad. Quickly nipped into the girls toilet to help my girlfriend being sick and he starts saying I have to leave. I replied saying id be out very soon as soon as my girlfriend was ok. He replied with literally the exact same response like I hadn't literally just heard him. I raised my voice as I was annoyed/distressed at the bouncer and concerned for my girlfriend. He starts yelling at me to which I yell back as I'm extremely annoyed. He them forcibly shoved me out of the pub, swearing at me the whole time without my girlfriend then yelled at me when I stayed near the premises waiting for her. Absolute waste and should be fired. Wont be visiting this dump again.
