Lawrenny Lodge - Bed & Breakfast

Positive: I don't think this place could have been any more amazing! We booked a little bit last minute (2-3 weeks before arriving) and simply asked if they could accommodate us with vegan options for our breakfast, included in the price of the room. We absolutely did not expect 3 full homemade breakfast buffets...! My partner and I were simply astounded at the quality of the food and the sweet thought that had obviously gone into each day's breakfast (all different, with more and more options as the days went on). We ended up extending our holiday by another day because we simply loved everything so much... We didn't want to leave! The room (impeccably clean with a thoughtful drinks/snacks bar), the KIND and friendly couple running the place, the food, the convenience, the facilities (the amazing and beautiful covered terrace!), the VIEWS!!! As well as the price... For everything you receive it is surely the best bargain we have perhaps ever had from a BnB experience travelling. And no we are not at all affiliated with the property haha but after leaving, we feel like friends. 100% will be returning if we are anywhere near Abermaw/Barmouth in the future.. Negative: Nothing; everything 10/10..

10 years after first staying, it was lovely to see that Lawrenny Lodge is in the great hands of Kevin and Marie. They are absolutely lovely hosts and run a wonderful BnB. Breakfast was very tasty and both are full of great local knowledge and suggestions. Highly recommended! We'll be back...

My wife and I stayed with Marie and Kevin for the weekend- what a lovely place to spend a few days.
From the warm welcome on arrival, the lovely room, great breakfasts and genuine warm wishes on departure, nothing could be faulted.

Our hosts Kevin and Marie could not have been more accommodating, nothing was too much trouble even baking a birthday cake for one of our party, they are a wonderful couple. A wonderful place to stop with terrific views, we will definitely be staying here again.

Nothing bad about this place. Welcoming, clean and a good breakfast. Short walk to the town or seafront. Kevin and Marie are perfect hosts

Room immaculate - the bathroom as bathrooms should be absolutely clean and fresh (down 3 steps)
Breakfast: a joy. Order from the menu the night before for an agreed time: cooked, cereal etc- the owners try to let every room eat separately... that works for me.
5 minutes walk from the foot/railway bridge over the estuary, a memorable structure and walk.

A beautiful stay with wonderful hosts! Marie and kevin who were lovely hosts, had a great list of options for breakfast and well looked after rooms.

The room had a picturesque view out to sea, it was hard not to be sat by the window.

Marie took extra steps to make our stay extra special, with blueberry muffins, blankets and reading materials related to our site seeing and was much appreciated.

Highly recommend and can't wait to return!

Absolutely amazing stay this week. Kevin and Marie are wonderful hosts who can't do enough for you. The room was great and the views are amazing. Perfect location for anyone who wants to do some of the nature walks as it is only a few minutes away from Barmouth Bridge.
