Henllys Estate B&B

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this wonderful establishment. James and Sarah have got everything spot on here. The property is in a lovely quiet location about 5 minutes from llandovery with fabulous views and a peaceful atmosphere.

The room doors open straight out into the courtyard / seating area which is a lovely touch,

Service is excellent and James and Sarah are a lovely couple.

The breakfasts are very tasty indeed and cooked to perfection setting one up for the day ahead quite nicely.

I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone and should I find myself in the area again I shall return.

Love Henllys- this is such a special place and you can tell the owners are passionate about their B and B. Amazing location, great food and lovely hosts.... I stayed in room one, cleaned everyday and great care and attention to detail. Husband loved the local pub, I loved the massage with Claire - couldn't ask for more! Will be back!

Positive: Everything about the place was lovely and secluded. The owners were wonderful! All of the details and communication was very clear and their banana bread is definitely worthy of trying and enjoying. The room was well appointed, clean and spacious. The sun comes through the stable doors in the morning and fills the courtyard with light. Breakfast was just amazing and we had more then enough to fill us up through to dinner.. Negative: People have commented on here about being able to hear other tenants through the walls and I would say that is true. I would also say that compared to such a list of positives that it didn't really affect our stay and I have suggested this place to friends and family for future visits..

Positive: Claire was a fantastic hostess and we can't wait to come back. The breakfast was beautiful and the room immaculate. Fantastic WiFi and location for those wanting to go walking. Plenty of parking and surrounded by beautiful views. Not far from llyn breanna and other beauty sites.

Positive: Breakfast was great. The hosts were fantastic and we loved being able to walk around the lake in the grounds. Will definitely look to visit again.. Negative: Nothing not to like!.

What a hidden gem is this place! We found it by chance, and we were lucky they had a cancellation so we could stay the night. The owner is so friendly and welcoming. The bedroom and bathroom are clean and the bed is super comfy. The breakfast is yummy and the surroundings are so relaxing. I wish we stayed longer.

Brilliant B&B with tremendous historical character coupled with magnificent wild woodland & lake open to all clients! The breakfast is served in continental style with freshly baked croissants & fruit muffins! Bedrooms are all located in a converted 19thC "barn" with impressive oak rafters & high ceilings! We recommend the 30min walk around their woodland & lake trail with rests on the benches to observe birds & wildlife! Recommended B&B for trips to Llandovery & Central Wales! Claire the owner can’t do enough for you, cooks a superb breakfast and there’s always a warm welcome with a Pot of Tea and Cakes. The rooms are spotless and tea and coffee making facilities in the room are well stocked with a excellent choice of Coffees, Teas, Hot Chocolates etc.
Claire will also advise on local pubs and quality places to eat out.
You’ll not regret staying here, and the best bit is, it’s in the middle of nowhere, so no traffic noise and comfy beds to snuggle in.
