Gower View Luxury Bed & Breakfast

Positive: We were very disappointed with our anniversary break here. Upon arrival everything seemed fine....as Janey was showing us around the cabin on the first day she mentioned our breakfast for the following morning was on the side. When we looked there was a sweet bread roll with a few jams and fruit in a tub. My partner and i were very confused as we were under the impression we were having a fresh cooked breakfast every morning as we had booked (even under thecurrent covid situation we are separate from the B&B and had outdoor area to consume food so couldn't see an issue. We ended up having to travel to the town everyday and queued for over an hour to consume a suitable breakfast costing us an unexpected extra £20 per day. On the 3rd day we felt we had to say something so i emailed Janey as we had not seen her about during our stay and she was apologetic and advised she had informed booking.com who should have informed us but we had no correspondence from them advising of this. She offered to refund £40 cash for the continental breakfast which we accepted. We then received an email from Janey which felt very offensive telling us we HAD received an email informing us but on this occasion she would still refund us the agreed £40. I felt completely put out at her insinuation that we were lying! I assured Janey we had received nothing but could tell she didn't believe us as upon returning the keys on the last day she again made sure she got in "it's a shame you didn't see the email" We never have been treated with such dishonesty or awkward feelings caused by a hostess during a stay in Tenby therefore wold not recommend or ever return here again! Such a shame but we do not appreciate being made to feel this way especially as it was a special occasion and we were not at fault during any of this misunderstanding between booking.com and the accomadation!. Negative: All the above plus the kitchen area was way too small.

Advertised as a Luxury B&B, sure enough it was luxurious and more. What a gem of a place, spotlessly clean, Towels to die for, sparkling white and fluffy. The bed was king size. Lovely hosts who couldn't do enough for you.. Outstanding in every way. Also we we viewed the Log Cabin which was very impressive too. We stayed in the luxury Bedroom. Continental breakfast served in our room because of the Covid situation. This is a must to book if your thinking of visiting Tenby. Just 2 miles away from Tenby.Just right. Thank you.

Positive: Great location with very pleasant owners. The room was very comfortable and clean.. Negative: Due to the current Covid restrictions a continental breakfast was offered and not the full English. Although this was explained we could not understand the reason why as cafe's and restaurants were open. Hopefully the full English will be available when we return..

What a great find. Had a weekend break here. Great setting, less then five minutes from Tenby. The owner was very polite and helpful. The place was spotless. We be returning and looking forward to the full English breakfast post covid.

Positive: The room was clean the breakfast was great excellent view from the room it was nice and quiet the owners were excellent nothing was too much for them it was the best breakaway I have had for a long time.. Negative: Nothing everything was perfect.

Positive: Owner was lovely, very helpful Gave us ideas of where to visit and eat.

Excellent, couldn't fault it, would certainly stay there again & recommend to others. Janey & Rod really good hosts.

Great place to stay in quiet location. Beautiful room and spotlessly clean.Large king-size bed which was very comfortable. Full English served at the table and chairs in your room in front of the glass doors so you can enjoy the view while eating. Breakfast was amazing. Your own balcony at back with seating erea. Off street parking. Great location with tenby just a few miles one way and Saundersfoot a few miles the other. A Chinese restaurant just up the road called the dragon Palace had nice food. Overall can't fault the place and highly recommend. A beautiful place run by very nice people.
