Had an overnight stay for work purpose, if you enjoy the quiet then this place will definitely appeal, it's in a small village set in one of mid Wales valleys.
Surrounded by trees, the first thing you notice is the clean fresh air of the village, if your feeling energetic then there is plenty of steep gradients to climb or taking your bike on a trek.

The rooms here are spacious and decorated to a high standard, beds that you sink into that are clean and well furnished.

The owner is very welcoming and chatty, like someone you have known for years.

Will definitely stay again as soon as I can, recommend this B & B to anyone.

Living within a few miles and planning a day at the Elan Valley we called at 7.30 to ask if we could stop for breakfast. We said we could be there for 8.30. Arrived on the dot and a warm welcome from the owner. Breakfast was 2 eggs 2 rashers sausage beans tomato with toast and tea or coffee. Excellent and tasty. Good value for money. Very friendly couple who obviously care about their guests and business. Will return for a Sunday lunch soon. Thanks for accommodating us at short notice.

Fantastic, traditional pub. Friendly locals & incredible food at very reasonable prices. Staff couldn't do enough for us. Fire was lit, lots of laughter & good company. Will certainly visit again

Janet very kindly stayed open for my boyfriend and his friend while they were cycling the trans cambrian way, making sure they had a lovely meal when they really needed it. A lovely act of kindness and he said both the food and pub and ciders were great. Will definitely be returning 😊

Amazing place. We found it by accident. We were looking for some place to eat after visiting Devil's bridge.
We received amazing service. Sunday lunch is very nice. I'm vegetarian, I was offered wonderful roast with vegan gravy.
Staff is super friendly, they even offer some snacks for my dog.

We stayed in mid October 21 while cycling the trans Cambrian way. Great hosts, our choice of dinner, warm comfy beds, mega fry up and a perfect packed lunch. Such a great service and highly recommended

Pre booked Sunday lunch, had heard the meals were good and we were not disappointed! My elderly parents completely cleared their plates, I haven't seen them do that in a restaurant for ages and both raved about it for ages! Spot on Steve and Jan, we will definitely return for another excellent Sunday roast, and my veggie option was delicious

Stayed with a group of friends while cycling the Elan and Claerwen valleys. Great hospitality. They have a bike lock up. Dinner and breakfast were excellent and a great selection of beers. Jan even did a hearty packed lunch for our second day cycling. Really enjoyed
