Utterly amazing. Beyond expectation in every way. We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we stepped through the door. Ron is a warm, generous & fascinating character, you will never be bored. Beautifully clean & presented throughout, lovely beds & bathroom. We were welcomed to cook in the kitchen for dinner which is a big save for the family. Felt very quickly like we were staying with an old friend rather than staying in a B&B! Oh & we've already sampled Ron's famous fruit salad. Can't wait for breakfast! Don't think twice, worth triple, book here.

A* For hospitality! Springfield is like home from home, very cosy. With a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Ron (the owner) was a great host, telling us stories of his life aboard Cruise Liners, making us laugh with "good" jokes whilst we ate our MASSIVE Fish and chips from the "local chippy', which Ron took us too, (5 minuute walk) Later he got out his guitar and sang a few songs, making us feel like `Old Friends" TV, in bedrooms and a lovely little basket of crisps and biscuits, with tea, coffee, kettle, sugar and sweeteners ready for you on arrival AND THE BEST THING... BOTH OUR DOGS WERE ALOUD TO STAY WITH US! 10 OUT OF 10!! Almost Forgot,, MASSIVE BREAKFAST Wowww!! That Fruit Salad was Amazing!! Thanks Ron, All the best for Now,, We will be Back!! Beck and Eurig x

Ron is an exceptional host. Nothing is too much trouble for him. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and well stocked with tea, coffee, hot chocolate, sugar, milk, biscuits, fruit, crisps, soft drinks and bottled water. If you have forgotten any toiletries, don't worry, Ron has it covered as there are stocked cupboards in the bathrooms with toiletries and new toothbrushes. Breakfast is amazing. Full english breakfast with bacon and sausages from the butchers, fresh fruit salad, croissants, rolls, toast, jams or marmalades, cereals, orange juice, tea or coffee. Absolutely stunning.
