The Riverhouse

This is a perfect place to explore the city and surroundings. The River House is amazing, they have all you need for a good stay, as a tourist and also for workplace. Good Internet, lots of electricity points, USB plugs, clean, lot of modern renovated bathrooms, bed/mattress are perfect. And the breakfast is good price/quality. Details are really notable. 👌🏼

Everything is well designed and kept clean all the time. There are plenty of very clean toilets and showers so you don’t actually feel like “sharing” the facilities. If you’re a light sleeper, I would suggest to bring ear plugs only because of the doors banging sounds made by other guests - it’s not the hotel’s fault and it personally didn’t bother me. I had to ask for assistance over the phone and it was very professionally dealt with. I will surely come back here again! Many thanks😊

My first day, and already I can say great place. Beautifull building, lovely living room, kitchen and garden patio. Clean room, gel and towel for shower. Very clean and modern toilets/showers.
Very close to city centre and to Cardiff Castle.

Nicest hostel I‘ve ever been to. Feels more like a home, than a hostel/ hotel. Check-in through self-check-in box, what works realy good.
They are cleaning through out the whole day and the bathrooms / kitchen - common areas and rooms are always the cleanest they could be. A lot of bathrooms provided.
Breakfast for 3 pounds / person is amazing. You get a bag with a lot of salty and sweet pastery in it. They provide all dsy long coffee, tea, water, milk and other stuff for free. It‘s just amazing.
5 minutes walk to the railstation / groceries, 10 minutes to bars / restaurants. 10 minutes walk to the castle of Cardiff.

Always again if coming back to Cardiff!!

Really beautiful place to stay by the river , high cleanliness, friendly staff , all bathrooms very clean , having a warmer and Netflix in the room , breakfast is a lot , ( but if not included , don’t miss great yet inexpensive breakfast too !) nearby Sophia beautiful garden , close to national express bus stop / station - just a little walk , easy to roam to castle museum, and nov - dec for winter WONDER LAND etc , so happy staying @ the river house , sure will come again

This place is wonderful! Very convenient location, well kept, and clean. I felt safe through my stay which is important since I am a female traveling alone. I recommend adding the breakfast its convenient and great for the price. Plenty of side options to go along with the ham and cheese croissant, you will not be left hungry. The staff is kind and helpful. Rooms are quaint and well kept. 10/10 highly recommend.

Clean and organised and great location. About 7-10 from the shops and restaurants. Though paid street parking, still affordable. Recommended for groups or solo travellers on budget.

Always such a lovely place to stay whenever I visit Cardiff. :) Clean, welcoming and a perfect location near the City Centre.
