This is a truly wonderful place to stay. If you want some peace and quiet and a bit of the beautiful Welsh countryside all to yourself then this is surely one of the best places to stay.My girlfriend and I stayed for two nights and had a very relaxing time, wondering the surrounding hills and being welcomed by Elsie and Dilwyn.I highly recommend Trecoed Farm B&B to anyone who wants to enjoy some great hospitality and wonderful local scenery. The ale at the local Hundred House pub is not bad either. Many Thanks (and additional thanks for posting back the keys we left!) and see you again soon!Chris and Lucy

I have returned to Kent after a holiday in Wales, and two nights were spent at Trecoed Farmhouse. It was really lovely. Elsie was so welcoming. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the breakfasts were delicious. I stupidly got my car stuck down a nearby lane in mud, and Elsie,s daughter and family were wonderfully helpful and the car was happily rescued by their farm quad bike! All in all I rate Trecoed Farm bed and breakfast very highly. Judy Underhill

My son and I stayed here when recently riding the national route 8 cycle route. We had spent a day on the bike in non stop rain and were thoroughly cheesed off. Elsie couldn't have made us more welcome. She even put all our wet clothes in the drier. Nothing was too much trouble for this lady. Any cyclists looking for somewhere to stay, look no further.

A friend and I stayed here recently and had a really great few days. The rooms were clean and bright, the food excellent and the countryside around was quite stunning. It is perfectly placed for cycling, walking, bird watching or, as in our case, fossil hunting. I loved the peace and quite. Trecoed Farm is real value for money and it is all run by Elsie, the most charming of hosts.

Lovely ol farm stay. A home from home, good food and welcoming owners. Small TV in room, but ok. Shower could have been bit better. Overall a fine stay. May return one day. Thumbs up.

The rooms are really nice and homely, comfortable warm atmosphere and friendly yet professional staff. The house was spotless, absolutely beautiful, and set in a gorgeous landscape. Quiet area with little to no road noise, but easily accessible from the road. A short drive from nearest town, (Builth roughly 15min). There is a cat sometimes allowed into the house, not the guest rooms, but may be an issue for extreme allergies.
All the food is homemade and actually amazing no joke.

Elsie the owner was very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was great, I had a spotlessly clean ensuite room with tea/coffee making facility. Very comfortable bed and a good nights sleep. Set in the country side, it was very quite and peaceful. I would definitely stay here again if I am in the area.
